This is the second time I've stayed at this Hostel, and both times were amazing experiences. The hostel sits right next to the beach, and there is a terrace where all the people go to meet each other and to enjoy the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The bed was very comfortable, and the internet was always reliable. There is plenty of room for people to work on their computers both inside and outside. I never had to wait to use the shared bathroom, and it was always clean. The staff and volunteers were all really amazing people. I remember the first time I was preparing my meal when the staff were cutting a strawberry shortcake. They offered me a piece. So, I had a delicious dessert with my meal. The staff and the volunteers always made me feel welcomed and valuable as a human being and a slow traveler. I can't wait to return to Arica to spend more time at this hostel.

The position was nice, right at the seafront. There are some sweet spots to grab empanadas or juices on the beach. Ping pong tables are a plus and the room and bathrooms were clean.

“Great Hostal”

We really liked it here from the moment we arrived. The hostel is very relaxed and friendly. The staff are wonderful, they are like a family, they made everyone feel welcomed and included. We could easily have stayed longer. Secure parking for the motorbike.

The staff were all really nice. I was preparing my meal when the staff were cutting a Strawberry short cake. They offered me a piece. So, I had a delicious desert with my meal.

The stuff were amazing and helped us with everything we needed - even borrowed us camping equipment for free. Really cool energy in the place!

This place is really amazing. People are witty, with the capacity to transform ideas in jokes. The location is very good, 10 min walking from the bus station and besides the beach. Everthing is well organized and cleaned and there is several bathrooms and areas to relax, play, watch tv, make your own food. there is also a garage for cars and motorcycles.

I can't say enough good things about this hostel - the friendlyness of the staff, the cleanliness (I've never seen a hostel kitchen which was that clean)... Since I was travelling alone I also highly valued the chill vibe which makes it very easy to connect with other travelers.

“Incredible host”

Dora is the most welcoming and helpful host I have experienced. After arriving at 6 am with a booking for the night after she let us check in to the room to get some sleep. She was then incredibly helpful with advice and spoke in simple Spanish to help us understand. When we had issues with a local surf hire company she completely supported us and called them to challenge their handling of the situation. The hostel is spotlessly clean and is constantly being cleaned by the friendly staff. Breakfast was extra cost but good and plenty if youre hungry. The terrace with a view of the sunset is stunning. “Dora, hasta luego!”

Dora, the hostess, is going to take great care of you. She showers you with motherly love and makes you feel cared for. Lively yet peaceful, carnival and calm coexist in the hostel. Right next to the beach, has great options for food nearby. Felt safe for myself and my belongings throughout my stay. Arica feels much better when you stay here.

“Very comfortable”

There is a nice area where you can hang out and chill. Also the possibility to cook. There are enough bathroom facilities and you even have the option to include breakfast. It is very close to the beach which is nice on a hot day. Would definitely come back!
