“Restful stay in a laid back hostel”

This was such a chill and great place to relax. The owner Claudio is very welcoming and the hostel is very sociable. Location is great for all things needed in Arica and the place is run by volunteers which gives it a real community feeling. Really recommend this place to anyone wanting some downtime between travels and a wholesome hostel experience. Muchas gracias por todo!

Really chilly place for relax

“Short and Sweet”

We arrived very early and they let us store our bags there while we explored the city. They even offered us breakfast even though we hadn't checked in yet and allowed us Wifi access. There were plenty of toilets available and the showers were hotter than hot. Our room was spacious with storage, and the bed was comfortable and warm. There was an amazing outdoor communal space with a fire pit. There was plenty of wildlife to see, including hummingbirds.

Cute hostel with a lovely garden and very helpful owner and volunteers. It's located a short walk away from one of the main streets of the city, but far enough to provide a quiet environment.

host and volunteers are friendly, a big garden with chill vibe. never need to worry about toilet paper, there's always having second one in the bathroom.

La posada del gallo is one of the best hostel where I have ever been. The garden is amazing and the environment is automatically bringing you to socialize with other people. The owners and the voluntary staff was so amazing that it was difficult to leave. Thanks to all of you

“Good deal”

Todo bien. Clean room, clean shared bathroom, garden and a communal kitchen. Owner helped us with a Taxi for the next morning.

There was a nice vibe and the location was ok. There was hot water in the shower. The breakfast was nice. The outdoor common spaces were nice too.

“Hippyish hostel under the mountain”

The owner was exceedingly helpful in arranging a tour for us. The volunteer staff were friendly and helpful too. Washing clothes was available for a nominal fee. We were allowed to stay in the grounds after checkout for most of the day. A lovely coffee shop on site, which also provided food if required. Limited book swap available. There were two kitchens, with ovens, hobs, fridge etc and quite well stocked with pans , plates etc. Within easy walking distance to the Morro, town center, beaches, ports and museums. Half hour walk to bus terminal or $2-3 for taxi.

Decent hostel, Safe area, good wi-fi, large lockers in dorm, large garden with seats, good kitchen, laundry service, walking distance to centre.

Owners are super friendly and the huge garden is lovely. I think it was low season because there was hardly anyone around but it was very peaceful and the kitchen was very well equipped.

Really nice guys I was just one day there but i wished i would stay longer. You feel welcome

“Can't think of a better place if you want to relax!”

It's a supremely relaxed place with a lovely garden full of birds. The owners are extremely kind. Good internet. Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 7...

The hostel has a nice garden and common area, kitchen, beds are quite comfortable. It's located close to the morro hill and to a big supermarket, 30 min walking from bus terminal. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was more or less quite. It's nice and safe atmosphere.

Spacious and colourful old building and lovely garden in various sections. Bathroom inside and more at the top of the garden. Usually with hot water. Pretty good kitchen. Beautiful quiet cat. Really good helpful staff who are very kind. I'm sorry I didn't see you to thank you and say goodbye.
