The hotel building looks great (sort of small French chateau style) and appears to have been refurbished in recent years. It has a good-sized garden and a swimming pool. Car parking was very secure but there are limited spaces so it's certainly best to book a space in advance. The hotel is situated close to the river, and it's a lovely walk along its banks, and not far from the small town centre. Breakfast was good and nice to have on the hotel's terrace.

Wonderful setting near the old bridge across the river, this is a splendid manor house with good facilities and offering a good extended continental breakfast. The staff and owner are very helpful and it has on-premise parking behind a gate licked at night

We received a lovely welcome on arrival with help to park ( booking essential ). Our ground floor room was spacious and quiet with a comfortable bed. The hotel offers a small pool for a refreshing swim after driving. The hotel is located in a quiet district of the town close to the scenic riverbank; we enjoyed a morning stroll to see the watermills and historic town centre. Breakfast was well organised and plentiful. Very pleased that we chose to stay at the Manoir.

Perfect location within the town. Caroline was very welcoming and accommodating. The pool was wonderful. Our bedroom was perfect and overlooked the Creuse. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful room and hotel with a lovely pool and outside area. Superb breakfast and very friendly staff. This was our favourite hotel from our trip. We'd definitely visit again x

Very friendly welcome from Caroline. Lovely pool. Dated but charming old worldly room. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. All the food was very fresh. Welcoming beer at the garden bar. We will definitely visit again.
