Honestly, the hotel met my expectations. It was amazing. The beach is actually sandy. The staff were all very nice. The room was clean. The view of the balcony towards the beach was spectacular. Definitely the hotel I will go to if I go to Ireland again. The beach is extremely sandy; there are very few rocks. It was very easy to swim in.

Cleanliness was second to none. Very comfortable. Staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My partner speaks a little Greek and all the staff encouraged and helped him pick up more of the language.

we loved the view and The Garden restaurant and also making friends with the little dog down by the pool! The young guy, Markus, on reception was very friendly and helpful as were the staff in The Garden restaurant.

Location to the sea, and Argasi town, beautiful view, convenience of having pool bar, reasonably priced, clean pool. We took the bus to Zakynthos town, bus stop 5 mins walk, bus was 30 mins late but it will turn up. 😅 Taxi back was 10 euro. There are some pretty disparaging, and unjust reviews in my opinion. I went with the knowledge that this is a family run hotel, no frills etc, so I was not expecting 5*. Our room was 3rd floor, basic but clean, room cleaned every day with fresh towels. The bathroom is small and showering far from perfect but functional. We had the lovely clean pool to ourselves pretty much, always plenty loungers, which are in the 2 garden areas not round the Pool itself. I spent lot of time in sea, totally quiet and crystal clear water. The rooms/hotel could use some updating, but if such renovations took place, no doubt would push the price up! I would avoid the ground floor rooms from what people say. The rooftop restaurant is very pretty, tapas style food, pricier, but worth a visit for something more fancy, we were happy with the pool bar food though! If you want a chilled laidback vibe, no frills and reasonably priced, I would recommend. If you want a 5* experience then book one of the much more expensive hotels nearby!
