Overview
Boasting a terrace with a volcanoes view from Horisun cafe. Located in the heart of the emblematic and traditional San Lázaro Plaza, where Arequipa was founded. About 6 minutes by walking from the main square. Bright and spacious, rooms at Fundador Hotel feature balconies, work desks and air conditioning (only in suite rooms). Some of them have baths. Hotel Fundador offers rooms with free WiFi and plasma TVs. An a la carte breakfast is served every day, included, offering seasonal fruit juices, hot drinks, local bread, and special options, based on ingredients from our city, that will delight your palate and allow you a unique experience. Guests can relax in the lounge or request a massage session. Laundry services are provided, and if you have any additional queries, please feel free to ask our concierge service, who will be happy to assist you. This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe a 2-3 The windows look into the corridor, there is not soundproofing, it is very hot in the room, the toilet couldnt flush

“Great location, lovely staff”
We arrived very early in the morning at 6.30am and they had a room available so we were allowed to check in so early!! It was fantastic and very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable.

“Personalised experience 💖”
It was beautiful maintained and was close to city centre. The personal was very attentive with the stay as I bought it for my mom’s birthday. They provides recommedation for her tours and were kind enough to bought her a special present for her birthday💖 I can’t be more grateful for the stay and the accommodation they provided for the whole 4 days. Hotel has very good location, you can easily walk to the main attractions. The breakfast on the 5´th floor is beautiful. The hotel let us to come earlier to the room for free. Which was very nice. Definitely recomend.

“Exceptional place to stay with modern, comfortable rooms with views.”
This is an exceptional hotel to stay at in Aeroquipa, as it is well located in historic district and is very modern, comfortable, clean, and with great views of the city and the volocanos surrounding the town. The bed and pillows were very comfy, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were amongst the best I have experienced in my travels in South America - extremely helpful.

There was no doof for the bedroom. The Wall of the Main door was from Glass and because I was on the ground floor light was coming in from the reception and I couldnt sleep do comfortable.

“Great stay”
Great location, right in the center and walking distance from many restaurants and attractions. The room we had was just right. It was not very big, but it was spacious enough. It was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. Overall we had a great stay.
