Location is perfect. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt comfortable from the second we stepped in. The staff is very welcoming and gave us many recommendations for Arequipa. We highly enjoyed our stay at Casona Solar!

Great central location but also quiet as the rooms/hotel is in a renovated mansion with inner courtyard. Room was unique, warm and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was set in a historic building, and staying there felt like traveling back in time. The room was big and comfortable. Staff was kind and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel itself is stunning. It’s a historic property, made from ashlar; the courtyard is a welcome oasis of calm. The breakfast was good and we were able to check-in early. We location if great - it is just a short walk to the main square.

Beautiful building, location, rooms, spotlessly clean. The courtyards are gorgeous spots to sip your tea & relax. Location perfect as so close to the plaza de armas. Beds super comfortable and for me, the family room was wonderful.

Amazing rooms and historic architecture, with friendly and helpful local staff. Hotel is a calm oasis away from the hectic streets of Arequipa! Breakfast was tasty, and the courtyard areas were great for relaxing. The main reception area also has helpful maps of Arequipa and Colca.

Casona Solar was once a historical stately home, now converted into a hotel with a beautiful courtyard, interesting features, well appointed comfortable rooms. People here are efficient and very obliging.

A wonderful old building with a fascinating history, set around a beautiful green courtyard. A warm welcome, extremely helpful hosts, comfortable beds and the only accommodation we've found in Peru to offer a kettle and tea in the room. Perfect.

The hotel has fantastic character and is a quiet respite from the very busy streets. The rooms have a dramatic feel but are very comfortable. The breakfast was both very good and plentiful.
