“Lovely stay in Arequipa”
This was a perfect place to stay for a few days in Arequipa. The breakfast was tasty (1 egg and bread, some jam and hot drinks), the rooms were good and best of all, there was HOT water in the bathroom (unlike a lot of places I have stayed where it only gets to lukewarm). The rooms were cleaned regularly and the staff were lovely.

“Comfortable stay”
The room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. There is breakfast included which was a fried egg, 2 buns with tea, coffee and juice on the terrace. Stunning building to stay in and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend, especially for the price. Bring earplugs as the area can be a bit noisy at night but with earplugs we weren't bothered.

Spacious, clean room and good shower. Nice terrace though the tables could be wiped down especially before breakfast. Typical Peruvian hostal breakfast with Peruvian bread, tea/coffee, juice, butter and jam.

Esteban was a very kind host who took good care of us. He arranged our laundry to be ready on time and ordered a taxi for us to take us to the airport early in the morning. He even woke up 5am to check in with the taxi. The place and the rooftop of the place were very nice and the location is perfect. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Bubamara. Our room was so cozy and chic and the house itself is very warm,beautiful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and rich and there was full of choice. Location was also very good because it's situated in the city centre. Thanks for everything!

“Good location, but quite load and iffy Wi-Fi”
The hostel is very well located within walking distance of the main square and sites. A taxi from the bus station should cost about 10 soles. Breakfast is standard, egg and bread. Wi-Fi works well where you have breakfast. Staff are nice and friendly and let us store our bags before our overnight bus. Shower was good, hot and good pressure

“Lovely hostel.”
This hostel is gorgeous. We staying in the double room on ground floor and it was very large and cosy. Always hot showers with good pressure, daily cleaning, excellent location. Breakfast of eggs, bread and jams was nice, nothing over the top but very fresh. Laundry service was quick, we had our clothes back within a few hours. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do more to help.

“Extremely helpful staff, great location and value for money”
We only stayed in Arequipa for one night before leaving for the Colca Canyon trek in the middle of the night. Despite our short stay we felt extremely welcome and the staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs. We were able to leave our luggage in their storage room during the trek and even after returning they readily helped us arrange a taxi to the bus terminal. Also great value for money on the rooms and location.

“Nice hostel near the center in Arequipa”
It was very nice to stay in this hostel. The host was very nice for us. The food he recommended was delicious! I felt safe and cozy staying here. Since we have night bus, the host let us stay until the next guest is coming.(6pm) It was really helpful for us. Thank you once again!

They had some problems and they booked us a different hotel. And that hotel was quite good. Nice rooms and they cleaned the room every day. The price was the same. The hotel was La casa de Leonardo. The Bubamara hostal inform me right time and they ask me if they can reserve me another hostel/hotel. They did a good job.

The hoster Esteban was super nice and helpful, he helped us to get the Colca canyon tour and he gave us a lot of useful information about the city. The room was very clean with excellent hot shower!

Great value for money. The manager was really helpful in ensuring we got on our tours- even waking in the middle of night for a 3am trip! The best hot shower we have had in South America. Clean and comfortable room. We couldn’t really ask for more at the price.
