I did travel for Perumine, the Mining show. Usually we gonto more « classic » hotel, but they were all full and expensive. Casona Mayor was available, welcoming was perfect and friendly (I felt arriving at afriends house), pricing was affordable and confort better then what I expected. I enjoyed my short stay, owner is friendly and honnest. Location is good, walking distance from main square.

The host was very welcoming. When we informed him that there were several dozen moths in our room he switched our rooms straightaway. He ordered a taxi for us for the bus station. The bathrooms appear to be newly built and were clean.

Everything! All the properties I stayed in Latin America are old so that is no issue to me. I like the vintagy style. I had a huge room, nice bathroom and on the ground floor. It has a nice inner yard and an adorable kitty greeted me at the door! The owner and his family is super friendly and I met some nice people too. The location awas great and I believe it was a great value for money. I would definately go back given the chance!

Perfect location, just in the center…… good price u may have your own room with good hot shower water……. Flexible check-in&out time ….. the hospitality is great, landlord Gonzalo is always there providing help, support and all kinds of needs.

The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The patio was a nice place to hang out. The kitchen was pretty well equipped.

Very clean and comfortable. You can use the kitchen and they have a quiet courtyard where you can sit or play table football, table Tennis. Very close to the main plaza and the local market. The owner can help you with organising groups as well. Just recommended 👌 Extra tip: The water in the shower works with a solar System, so better use it not in the early morning hours ☺️ besides you want a cool wake up shower

“An excellent stay in the charming city of Arequipa”

An excellent place to stay in the center of Arequipa, very close to the main square. The place is very clean, with a small kitchen available for the guests, comfortable beds and showers with hot water. The biggest advantage of the place is the host Gonzalo, who is very knowledgeable about Arequipa and Peru, very helpful and flexible, speaks very good English, and gives excellent recommendations. The city of Arequipa is charming and beautiful.

The place was as described and comfortable. The host was extremely accommodating with all our needs.
