“Amazing experience”

First, i'd like to point out the kindness of the owners. We arrived almost 2 hours late (at midnight) for our check-in due to public transport delays, and one of the owners greeted us with smile and without any worries. When we needed to get information about transport, trips or places to visit, they kindly helped us with routes and showed us everything we needed to know, always with a friendly attitude. The room has everything you need for a short stay - a bed, a bathroom, even a portable refrigerator, and a balcony as a bonus. The accomodation is situated 2 minutes on foot from the train station. It also takes just a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is clean and beautiful, and a 5-10 minute walk to a local Mercadona, where you can buy your groceries. We visited in april and the town was very calm and not touristy at all, which we really enjoyed, when coming back from busy streets of Barcelona. Overall, we loved it here and would definitely like to return for another stay.

Friendly well placed hostel at a decent price

The hostel is modern and the room is great for a short stay. The breakfast buffet is very good for the low price, so I can't really fault the accomodation at all. It has secure entry at night too..

Location is good, near the beach. People who run hostal are very kind. Terrace is a nice place for breakfast.

Amazing stay – felt more like a hotel than a hostel! We stayed in a private room with a king-size bed, and it honestly felt more like a small boutique hotel than a hostel. The room had everything we needed – including air conditioning and a mini fridge (more like a portable beach cooler, without internal shelves, but still useful!). The host was incredibly kind and attentive. At check-in, he answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. When we asked for a wine opener, he brought not only that but also glasses, plates, and cutlery – such a thoughtful gesture! Breakfast is available every morning for just $5, and it’s absolutely worth it. You can enjoy it on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the sea and the old town – a perfect way to start the day. We visited in early June, and the weather was perfect – hot during the day and cool at night, so we barely needed the air conditioning. Just a tip: make sure to close the wooden shutters at night, or the morning sun will wake you up early! One of the best parts of our trip was staying in this peaceful and beautiful little town instead of in busy Barcelona. We visited Barcelona almost every day, but coming back here in the evening felt like a retreat. We’re so happy we chose this place!

“An excellent stay in a lovely little town.”

Nice friendly place close to the centre of town and within easy reach of the beach. It’s also very well located for the railway station that is on the line to Barcelona. We were travelling by motorcycle and there was a public parking space (free) very close to the hotel.

I was in Barcelona for business, so the property is very close to the train station which was great. Check in was fast and efficient.. The room was clean and sufficient for what i needed and i felt safe. The shower was excellent

I love the hostels location, close to the beach and the main street. There's a local bakery near by for coffee and breakfast with an authentic feel. There's a rooftop which is really nice for a view.

La Lluna is a great high end hostal. It's close to the beach, the train station and the main street. We had a room with a balcony on the front, I don't know how the back rooms are. The city has restaurants, bakeries, bars etc. It's quite local and feels safe. It's very easy to take the train to nearby cities for some variation.

Great location, lovely little place to stay.

We loved our week staying here. We really appreciated how small, quiet and welcoming it was. Sitting on the rooftop terrace watching the sunset with a cold beer was magical. The location is ideal, with the train station 2 minutes away and the beach just five: we didn't regret not hiring a car. Thank you again for our stay.
