Erik was a fantastic host, the room was very clean, we really enjoyed the breakfast and eating so many mulberries from the giant tree in the courtyard. Peaceful property and very well located near hikes. Highly recommend this place and their wines!

“Fantastic stay in Areni”

Erik (and the lovely dog Choko) were brilliant hosts! We had a very nice evening and morning with delicious food and wine, great company in the hosts and fellow guests, comfortable room and overall a very easy going stay.

Fantastic experience in Areni. Very friendly owner who showed us all their winery procedures including wine tasting and dinner. Room was nice, generally simple but with all you need. Breakfast was standard as in all Armenian properties. We were in 3 accommodations during our trip in Armenia and Breakfast was totally same in all. But nice and delicious.

The young Eric is an excellent host — friendly and highly knowledgeable about wine and hospitality. Areni Wine Art is located just a few meters from Areni-1 Cave and from Novarank Monastry, which are definitely worth a visit. The rooms are cozy, clean, and equipped with everything you need. In addition, you can enjoy an excellent and generous Armenian dinner accompanied by wines from their own winery — a real discovery for us, especially Armenian wine, which is produced here in a completely natural way. This place is a little oasis in Areni! We loved the lush garden, the fruit trees and the huge terrace where everyone could hang out in the evening. The warm and friendly welcome from the owners makes you feel instantly at home, they create a wonderful atmosphere. The dinner and the breakfast were the best we had during our trip in Armenia! Fresh ingredients, very tasty, homemade food, I wish I could go back for more. :) We tasted the red wines too, they were really good! The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, perfect to rest after a long day. Don’t miss this place out when in Areni!

There was a lovely outside space & they’ve got lovely homemade wines and vodka. The host is very friendly & they have a lovely dog.
