“A glimpse of real life in Spain, with spectacular views.”

This felt like “real” Spain. A local village community, on a hillside with superb views. The cows were walked through the village twice a day by a lady and her dog, to the milking shed. All the local pets seemed to meet up once or twice a day, and the farmer got round on his tractor with his work. The views are spectacular, from our little shaded terrace, the lounge, the bedroom, and even the bathroom. It was a steep climb from the village, but there was a shortcut path, and it only took about 10 minutes. We had a car, and parking was easy and safe right by the side of the house. Our hosts lived next door and were friendly, but left us to do our thing. We booked this, to see the other side of the Picos, and to do the Cares gorge trail, but found the cheese caves museum, and the Bulnes Funicular, which was also a great day out, and superb walk down. The house was way more than we needed, 2 shower rooms and 2 bedrooms. (The pictured really don’t show it properly). We spent all of our time on the shaded terrace outside. But we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

“A fabulous stay in a great location above Las Arenas”

The location is perfect, in a small hamlet with a great view over Las Arenas and the surrounding mountains. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the village center. On-site parking. Watching the cows come home every evening.

A beautiful property in scenic location

The location and views are stunning, and the house is lovely and cosy, just a few minutes away from the village. Masha was also great if we needed anything. Highly recommend - we hope to stay in Las Cabraliegas again!

Very nice apartment with laundry facilities... Very quiet with lots of friendly dogs and cats to visit with. Two bathrooms was a bonus.

The location is stunning and extremely peaceful, with a short (steep) walk into the town. The small terrace is a wonderful place to sit. The building looks newly renovated/built including the bathrooms.

The stay is excellent.. The view from bedroom , living rooms are magnifique. If you have a car, and want to relax looking at the mountains.. this is the best choice. The neighbourhood is also nice, the people are very friendly

The location of this property is delightful; we enjoyed being surrounded by authentic spanish agriculture and pictuesque scenery.

Great location and incredible views.

We liked the location. It was easy to communicate with the host and she responded very quickly to questions. We loved being able to sit outside to eat. The house was clean and well equipped.

Good, modern house. Great insulation. Small balcony with mountain views. Awesome location, top of a hill, quiet area, great views. Good well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed it a lot.
