We loved it here. Isabelle was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast brilliant, beautiful garden, fantastic location for Calais - and the homemade jam yum!

Isabelle was exceptionally welcoming and friendly - as was her accommodation. The location was perfect for us - just a short distance from Calais and in a truly peaceful and tranquil setting. The back garden was huge and very beautiful - as was the walk around the lake. We loved the French toast for breakfast.!

Received a warm welcome from Isabelle. Rooms were clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Only a 20 minute drive from the shuttle. Large comfortable garden and easy access by foot to places to eat. The spread at breakfast was superb and Isabelle did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Isabelle made us very welcome in their beautiful property and we had a wonderful time. The location, room and breakfast was perfect. Isabelle couldn't do enough for us and we enjoyed the company of Watson and Le poulet! We will definitely return and would highly recommend to others!

Very nice, very cozy and comfortable !

Very friendly, welcoming owner. The property has very spacious front and rear grounds. It's within easy reach of the Channel Tunnel (about 20 minutes). There was a wide choice of local and homemade food for breakfast.

The kindness of the staff. After several months, I still remember the scrambled eggs made with the fresh eggs made by the local hens… definitely the best in my life!

Beautiful house and garden. We had a lovely breakfast to set us up for the journey home. Unbelievably convenient for the Tunnel.

“Clean, quiet, comfortable and excellent value”

We had a very comfortable, clean quiet room with private covered parking. The garden is beautiful and you walk through it to get to the lake. Isabelle the host is fabulous, extremely friendly and welcoming , giving recommendations on places to eat in the village which were a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh homemade food including freshly laid eggs.

Excellent location with lovely breakfast and the host is friendly

Isabelle is the perfect host both friendly and helpful. Location is simply wonderful, a fabulous garden at the end of which you can access walks around Ardres and the lakes. We will definitely stay again.

The garden and room was nice, clean and very pleasant.

Situated close to the lakes was v good, and only a short walk into the town. Isabelle was a v good host. Breakfast was v good with home made jams and yogurt.

A lovely room with table and chairs for in room dining. Plates, cutlery provided in a drawer. An excellent folder with info on the local area. Spotlessly clean. Isabelle is a charming hostess and gave us such a warm welcome. The large garden leads to a path next to the lake and perfect for a walk. Breakfast was excellent and her French toast and jams are delicious. We would love to come back.
