“Extremely Bad Condition - Do Not Recommend Staying”
The house was extremely dirty. It had not been vacuumed for what seemed like months. See the picture below within the first hour of being there. The kitchen and around windows were infested with ants. They were climbing up the walls and across lounge furniture. Also present in the bedrooms near the windows. The upstairs shower was leaking through the bathroom light on the downstairs bathroom. We went there for my brother’s wedding and I had booked it months in advance. Back then I’d let them know that we had a photographer coming on the wedding day to take pics of the groomsmen and we asked that the lawns be mowed and the outdoor area be well kept. They said they would make sure that it was. I also reminded them the week of and they said they were getting someone to mow the lawns. They did a terrible job, the lawn was dead and there were piles of sticks everywhere. The deck was covered in bird poop and it was extremely dirty too. It looked nothing like the photos here. The outdoor area was much smaller than it seems in the pics too. The blanket on the couch in the living room was stained with something red, there was a dirty crusty used cloth in the downstairs drawer, there was a used wipe behind one of the couch cushions, there was a brown splatter on the inside of the door in the downstairs bathroom, a lot of the plugs in the lounge and none in the kitchen worked (we had to boil the kettle in the lounge) and one of the PowerPoints (that didn’t work) came out of the wall which is so dangerous, the stovetop didn’t work (no gas) and there was only one plastic container, one wine and champagne glass, and only a few water glasses of different sizes. No salt and pepper, and a chipped glass plate in the microwave. The wifi connection was also extremely bad and our data didn’t work.
