“Friendly B&B in Ardara”
Irene welcomed us on arrival and was friendly and helpful from the start of our stay until the end of the two days. She truly loves her home, Ardara village and Co. Donegal with a passion, which she shares with her guests. She gave us the best advice on what to see, where to eat and where to go to buy Donegal jumpers. Our room was comfortably, shower was good and Irene’s breakfasts were very tasty. We would certainly stay with Irene if we return to beautiful Donegal in the future.

Irene was so welcoming and helpful with her tips for the local area. Facilities were excellent and location was perfect for access to Ardara town and local beaches. All topped off with a delicious breakfast before we headed off. We would definitely stay again!

Irene's care of us was 1st class and we loved spending time and chatting with Irene .The breakfast was great and Irene catered for any special requests. This was our 2nd time staying at Hillhead House and we look forward to staying again. Ardara is a very warm and friendly town in a beautiful area and we are always eager to return.

“I liked the convenience and comfort and would definitely recommend it.”
Location was good within short walking distance to shops,restaurants and pubs. Room was very comfortable. Irene was an excellent hostess helpful without being intrusive and her porridge at breakfast was to die for!!

“Cosy , comfortable and friendly”
The house was very cosy and spotless . Recently decorated . Irene was very friendly spent time talking with us and took some photos as we were off to a wedding. Very nice person. Breakfast was great freshly made to order and ordered the night before. It was very tasty
