“A perfect base to enjoy Madeira”

We have stayed at Villa Girasol 6 times, and we never tire of the view. The villa is spacious, impeccably clean, bright and well appointed. Jorge is very reactive and responds to querues very quickly. A really special place.

This apartment is truly wonderful! The view is absolutely brilliant and the apartment itself is very well-equipped and impeccably maintained. It was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. The owner was incredibly helpful, offering fantastic recommendations for local sights and restaurants. We were also so touched by his kind welcome, complete with delicious Madeiran sweets and wine. A truly delightful stay!

Very comfortable house, beautiful view.

Everything was great! If you have a car, you are in maximum 30 minutes from almost every most remote point of Madeira island. The view from rooms and living room is awesome, kitchen is full of appliances

Great views and well equipped apartment. Good beds and a apartment with all you need for a week with the family. A car in size of Renault Captur can be parked in parking spot and a bigger car on road outside. 6 minutes to Calheta beach and just a couple of minutes to a grocery store, by car.

We booked Villa Girasol in January. The whole house was just perfect: clean, warm, excellent host and the best landscape ever! Huge + for a small local cake and wine as a gift :)

Great location, well above, but handy for both the express coastal road and plateau above. Comfortable clean and very well-equipped modern villa with stunning views. Safe roadside parking, but also electric gate .. fine to bring in a smaller car. A couple of good simple restaurants within walking distance on the ER222 road, and a great one a mile or two up the hill .. also, the host kept in touch to ask if all was well.

This villa is just perfect. Its really spacious and offers a big comfort. You have 3 toilets, 2 showers, 1 bath with jaccuzzi, large fully equiped kitchen and nice terrace. There is also a small garden in front of the house and a small parking place for 1 tiny car. Nearest shop is about 10 min walk, supermarket about 20 min. The best thing is the view - just stunning. Public buses are operating from the stop nearby, but to be honest it is a bit of chalange to use them. Hovewer it gets easy after some time. About 10 min drive You have got Calheta public beach and Pingo Doce supermarket. If You like to see the local Madeira - this is the place to be!!!

“Everything was perfect”

Everything was great. On the first day, we arrived by bus from Funchal (the bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the apartments) and the booking showed us the wrong address of these apartments. The kind host, who responded quickly to all messages, helped us with the transfer to the right address. So the apartments are not opposite the "Naye pizzeria", but opposite the "Pink House”. The apartments have 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms and small balconies on the upper floor, and a kitchen, lounge and large balcony on the lower floor. The kitchen has everything you need for comfortable cooking, a dishwasher, stove, pans, pots, toaster, even a blender (!) and utensils. There are spices and oil in the kitchen. There is a washing machine and washing capsules. You can also use a gas grill. The views from the apartments deserve all the praise. Breakfasts or dinners with this view are the best :) Fresh local bananas and a bottle of wine awaited us in the apartment❤️
