“Amazing”

I don’t have anything bad to say. It was very clean and very well equipped. You have a lot of space and the location is also great. Even tho the property doesn’t have its own parking space, there’s always a spot to park your car. The host was amazing, she left us a bottle of wine and a cake which was really sweet of her. And the thing that will stick with us for a long time is the balcony view, especially at sunset. Highly recommend!!

“Wonderful place with a very kind owner”

Staying at Teixeira House was a great experience. The owner is very nice. We received a cake on the first day, and during the second week we got another one! The kitchen was very well equipped. I was also pleasantly surprised by the box with bathroom essentials — such a great and helpful idea. Thoughtful touches that made our stay truly enjoyable.

Very comfortable stay, despite not a modern one. Very well equipped and prepared for enjoying the vacation.

Wonderful view from the terrace, quite place, very well equipped

“Nice place to stay, but recommend having car / transportation.”

Nice ocean view. Sunset view. Daytime sun on terrace. Cool inside. Mostly quiet, though you do hear both dogs and traffic sometimes. Has everything you need including washing machine, oven, iron, even toaster, air fryer and a ton of other stuff. Easy checkin and -out. Helpful host, who offered assistance, but otherwise did not bother us. Close to main road, pharmacy, snack bar, small shop that mostly sells wine, beer and dry / canned goods. Walkable distance from both beach and the levada - if you are fairly fit… it’s Madeira, so 300m down/up the mountain.

Cosy place as a base for day trips around Madeira. Nice view from terrace, plenty of kitchen devices etc. Car can be parked uphill near pharmacy, always free space available.

“Great view”

We liked the location and the view was spectacular. There are a few apartments and you get a random one. We got a smaller one with a small terrace. Place is outdated but it has everything you will need including a washing machine. Host is super nice and friendly. She had a cake and a bottle of wine for us ready when we arrived and allowed late night check in.

The land lady is nice. The place is very basic and needs an update on furniture and seating on the balcony.

“Flat with ocean view”

Wonderfull ocean and valley view. Cute and well equiped appartment, with sleeping room upstairs. Nice and helpfull host Cecilia. Quite, just some village noise. Good connection to all island and levadas. Close to Rabacal tunnel, very recomended. Close beaches and shops. Of course, you need a car, it is usual in Madeira.

Beautiful view of the ocean, parking available, nearby restaurant, beach. Polite attitude of the staff.

“Amazing relaxing place to stay at and place to lounge outside on a warm sunny day”

This place was amazing and spacious. Enough room for 4 people. Loved the facilities and location. The host was very welcoming responsive, and really lovely. Great views from the place too. I’d recommend this place to anyone we know who travels to Madeira. Would definitely stay here again

We really liked staying at Cecilia's place. She was a fantastic host who gave us all sorts of information about Madeira and good suggestions. She was always willing to be of help. She gifted us with a bottle of wine and a lovely cake!

Beautiful view and Cecília was a very nice host. There is a bus stop very near by and a farmacy.

From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the ocean at sunset. It has good access to Paul da Serra with its splendid walks along levadas to waterfalls.
