All! I had to be patient until an opportunity arose to book the villa, and it was more than worth the wait. Even before we arrived, André gave us a warm welcome and provided us with information and advice. The villa and its location are simply magical – we thoroughly enjoyed everything and appreciated the superb facilities. You could really tell that this property is the owners’ home and not just a rental. Our biggest ‘luxury problem’ was deciding every day whether to explore the island or simply enjoy the magnificent views, watch the kestrels and whales, sit by the pool reading, or work out in the gym. André’s tips were spot on; he was always available and offered support whenever needed. We had a wonderful rest and will definitely be back – for that, we’re happy to take on the small challenge of driving up the steep hill. Top marks for the warm hospitality and the wonderful house.

A place where you want to live forever. A home where tranquility resides and dreams are born. My first impression of Morning Star was amazement and delight. Light, space, and aesthetic pleasure—beauty in every detail. And the feeling that I was expected here. It’s like meeting and recognizing something very dear: a long‑awaited reunion with a close friend, or love at first sight. Situated on Madeira’s south coast and sheltered from northern winds by the mountains, this home is utterly unique—and has everything you could need. It feels both filled and light at once. It has the magic to adapt to your every mood: intimate or expansive to the horizon. Every detail in the home is designed for both solitude and comfortable togetherness. The delightful sense of space and freedom on this relatively small plot of land brought us joy throughout our stay at the villa. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who conceived and brought this idea to life.

Fantastic Villa!!! The great view to the ocean and stars at night. Very quiet and private place. The villa was clean, well equipped, beds are comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Special thanks to André for the warm welcome and taking care about our family throughout our stay, we got a lot of tips on restaurants, attractions and places to visit. I definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing views, very quiet and peaceful. Our very kind host phoned round restaurants when we arrived late to make sure we could get a booking. He picked an excellent restaurant. The Villa was extremely comfortable. Everything was provided. We will definitely return. The island is increadible and the people the friendliest we’ve encountered.

Stunning views, immaculate condition & prestinely clean. A perfect place to stay with a fantastic view of the ocean. The infinity pool garden was exquisite & a treat to swim in at sunrise & sunset. Inside there were nice added touches such as books & walking guide which were useful. Calheta is nearby with nice restaurants & supermarkets. You will definitely need a car to explore Madiera as it is extremely hilly!

This villa was superb. We have stayed in many lovely villas around the world and this stands out above most of them. The setting, privacy and facilities were perfect. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore well below! The host, Andre, was extremely welcoming and helpful and always at the end of the phone with any questions. If we were to find any negative, and it is a very minor one, is that it would be advantageous to have a microwave in the kitchen. We would also advise that car hire is essential to fully appreciate the island and get to the restaurants/bars. If we return to Maderia we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family.

The swimming pool is great and children had great fun there, the view from the terrace is breathtaking and you can see it from almost every room of the house. We also enjoyed the home cinema. The neighborhood is beautiful and silent so you can hear the waves of the ocean. Overall the stay at this place was fantastic and we can’t wait to come back. I recommend this place very much.

Location, location, location. To wake up to such a stunning view and the noise of the sea and birds was wonderful. The villa is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The three bedrooms are all private which makes it ideal for groups of friends. They all have wonderful views. Andre looked after us wonderfully from start to finish.
