“First visit to Madeira”

The house is stunning with everything you need to make it a home away from home. Loved the pool which I don't think was heated but stayed a nice temperature even though we didn't have the best weather. Saw dolphins from the balcony one day! Useful having a washing machine in the utility. Loved the bedroom curtains, proper blackout so we were sleeping so well (even though I initially found the mattresses quite firm). Local cat visited us daily which we loved. Also fantastic location for exploring.

Everything was great. The place is authentic and the surroundings are very peaceful. The house has all the necessary equipment, and the view from the window is simply amazing. The check-in procedure is simple and clear, and the communication is very clear. Thank you and we will definitely come back!

“One of our best locations ever”

Location, completeness of the house, pool, garden.

The most beautiful house with an amazing view!! The interior is very modern and put together, the beds are super comfortable, everything is very clean. The pool is small, but perfect for two persons. Sunset view every night. Very quite area and the people working at the banana-plantation are sweet and respect you privacy. The road to the house (approximately 200 meters from the main road) is very steep and narrow, but you quickly get used to it. Cannot recommend the Mango house highly enough!!

We had an incredible week stay here in June. The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The location is the sunniest area on the island and we enjoyed spending time relaxing in the stunning, peaceful outdoor area. Comfortable beds, powerful shower and great host. Some fab restaurants and bars nearby, in particular Calheta Green and Pukiki cocktail bar. Some mention the road, in the scheme of roads in Madeira, it's pretty standard. Just get a small, powerful car.

“Beautiful design house with gorgeous views”

The house is beautiful with impressive design details. Although the pool is small, the outside area was one of my favourite spots to be - the views are gorgeous! The host was great with communicating and we loved our time at Mango House.

The house is well built. Very lovely design. A lot of amenities. The beds are confortable. You have a very nice and awesome view.

“Paradise house”

Mango House it's a little house in paradise in between the banana plantations. Waking up every morning with those views and quietness, only the sound of the sea is priceless. It's a perfect house to relax, chill and enjoy nature around you. The house has everything you need, it really feels like you are at home, very well equipped and decorated. The bbq and swimming pool outside are a nice plus to not mention how comfy to sleep, open the door, and be between banana trees :) Best holiday house we have ever been. The road to the house the first day might be a bit too adventurous but it's easy to get used to it. With a small powerful car is more than enough to make it work.
