Perfect place to enjoy vacation without hurry

Wonderful place. So well positioned. Excellently equipped, so many towels. We had one issue and the host immediately sorted it. Completely fell in love with the place and it made the whole holiday splendid.

Host was welcoming and easy to communicate. We were greeted and presented with wine. Everything about house is great and all you could need - sufficient size rooms, outdoor pool and separate shower/wc for outdoor use, separate room for barbeque, garden, sunbeds and of course view of town and ocean. Was great returning from day hikes to cool of at pool or rest in living room with cozy sofa/tv/youtube. 10 min drive to Levada 25 fontes.

The views from this property are breathtaking. The property was so lovely and we throughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for having us.

Stunning location in a quieter part of the island. The villa had amazing views out to sea and we spent as much time as possible outside (when it wasn’t raining!) Odilia was on hand if we had any questions or queries. She was brilliant!

Amazing outside area - around pool, pool itself, hamaka and best view. You can enjoy breakfast at terrace. Pool can be heated, but there is extra fee and you have to write to owner upfront. House is big and cozy, kitchen has everything for preparing food. There were lots of towels for use - also plus. The owner is very sweet and helpful. Fully recommend!

“A little gem on top of the hill in Archo da Calheta”

The house sits on the top of Archo da Calheta with a fantastic view of the valley and the Ocean. The house has two bedrooms, a separate bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The place is charming and clean and looks better than in the images (at least, this was our impression). A small garden one level below the pool is a beautiful addition to the house. The pool is excellent, especially after a long day of hiking. We would stay here again. Odilia was a great host and helped with all things needed and made us feel at home. The house is comfortable, and the view is stunning.

At the moment of booking confirmation, our host sent greetings immediately and accompanied us virtually until our arrival. The house was easy to access by car. A parking lot is available. Outstanding is the very well equipped kitchen, the cosy living room with the fireplace and of course the garden, the pool and the terrace with its fantastic view. The house also offers a variety of card and board games. The warm hospitality and care of the host continued during our stay with welcome gifts, further information and hints. Calheta was a perfect starting point for our trips around and across the island. We really enjoyed the time and can fully recommend the accommodation.

It was a marvellous holiday for my family. The property met all our expectations. The host met us and brought some food and drinks since we arrived in the evening when all shops were closed.
