Samburu Sopa is a wonderful lodge to stay in Samburu National Reserve. It's proximity is amazing. Very safe from Ewaso Ng'iro occasional floods. The staff are amazing. Delicious meals . Cosy rooms. We had a memorable Sundowner ✨️. The staff made it absolutely awesome.

What a wonderful stay. The lodge is in a great location, the rooms are comfortable and full of charm. The food is great across all three meals and the staff were just brilliant. We had an issue with our car rental and Naomi went above and beyond to support us, we will never forget her kindness.

“A great lodge with the best staff”
The best asset of the lodge is its staff, Berald and Martin are great managers. Also Chef Chris needs mentioning, he understood we like cheese; all staff is friendly. The lodge has a wonderful pool. The grounds are well maintained, it is also very clean. The breakfast pancakes, and dessert cheese are delicious. When our car had a puncture we could get it fixed relatively easily.

“'Budget' - Lodge within Samburu National Reserve”
Food was nice and plenty of selection for all meals. Staff was really helpful and accommodating. Even though it is a big hotel (60 rooms) it still feels private, but I can image it can get quite busy at times with big groups staying at the Lodge.

In the middle of the nature, no-noise, staff was very helpful. Foods were delicious. You feel you are in safe place. Even if there is no grid in the area, we had power when we need.
