Very much a blast from the past establishment which i found to be rather charming. The place is spotlessly clean and Dimitrius and Anthoula, the elderly couple that own Anthoula Sun, are gracious and very kind.

Soooo friendly people! Helped me to get my room earlier cause of upcoming heavy rain on my motorbike!!

Anthula Sun is the hotel of an elderly couple who put pride in their bussines. They are very friendly always eager to give advice about the places to go tavernes to go to eat and even hand out umbrella's so you can sit savely at any beach!

The property had a nice vibe, it was old school greek, it had many plants around, white and blue colors and was very calming. The best part was Dimitris who was the most helpful and very charming owner of the hotel. He would always be in a good mood and help you with anything you needed. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel, but it was worth the money. Archangelos is a little bit less touristy, so you get a more authentic experience. It was interesting to stay.

Anthoula and dimitris was very friendly made us feel like family!! Anything we asked for their made it !!! The place is very quiet and there is no noise to disturb and the village is safe....we slept with the doors opend ! Olso the location of the hotel is right in the middle of distance between town of rodes and lindos ,also one hour from prasonisi.....so if you have car you can go all around faster..all yhe east beaches are well organized, very clean and easy to go from this hotel!! I will visit again for sure! Thanks

Amazing hospitality and genuine care by the owners. Very quiet area for everybody to relax and a lot of nice teracces to spend quality time and admire the clear night sky! rich and freshly made breakfast in a traditional dining room. I place is very close to the most famous becah of rhodes and the village has all the necessities. I really love it!

“Strategic location and the kindest hosts”

Anthula Sun is a beautiful and welcoming place, cared for in every detail. Inside the property, there is a large breakfast hall, and outside you’ll find tables and chairs perfect for enjoying breakfast in the fresh air. Its location is excellent, from here you can easily reach all the main spots on the island, and we managed to get everywhere by scooter. Restaurants and cafes are just a 5 minute walk from the place. Dimitri’s hospitality is truly exceptional. Upon arrival, he gave us a detailed map with great tips on the best beaches and was always ready to help with anything we needed. Both he and his wife are such kind and genuine people, which made our stay even more special. I really liked the services, complete and well thought out. Breakfast is included and offers coffee or tea, bread, jam, butter, cheese, ham, eggs and juice. Everyday, our bed was made, fresh towels were available, and we even received mosquito-repellent tablets. In short, this is a wonderful place that combines kindness, comfort and excellent value for money. We would absolutely come back!

If you want a greek atmosphere of a small town in a pretty house, this is a 10/10. The owner are super friendly, helpful and nice. The accommodation is very clean. The service was very nice :-)

We started each day with a warm “Kalimera”, and everything during our stay was truly “Ola Kala” just perfect for us. Thanks to Dimitri and his wife, Anthula, we truly felt at home. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us smile every single day. Amazing place for that price, and Demitri is so kind and helpfull. We arrived in the night and he welcomed us kindly. Very nice location with easy access to beaches with car or vespa. One of my favorites beaches "Stegna beach" is just 10 min drive from there

“Greek authentic experience”

We have stayed only night (as it was our last day of holiday) but we had a fantastic experience meeting Dimitri and Anthula. We have got a lot of advices and recommendations. We wish to stay longer, maybe next time, if you are looking for a real greek authentic welcome, here is the place.

Hosts were super kind and sweet! I arrived really late but they were awake waiting for me. The room was clean and comfy, with all needed facilities. The breakfast was the best I ever had, delicious and nourishing. Location is close to a bus station, 5 mins walking. Everything was so great! Special thanks to hosts for their support of Ukraine, my heart just melted. Totally recommend for staying!

We had a wonderful stay at anthoula sun! the owners - Dimitris and Anthoula - are lovely people who take really good care of their guests. The rooms are simple, but very clean - they’re cleaned daily and provide everything you need. Dimitris even provides you with an umbrella for the beach, so you don’t have to rent one. It feels like visiting your long lost grandparents :) Larissa & Erik
