“Traditional villa amongst the the olive vines.”

A delightful traditionally built villa high in the hills of Kato Archanes with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and down to Heraklion. Mina’s our host could not be more helpful providing many suggestions of local products to try and places to go. He regularly kept in touch to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The villa was well appointed and the welcome gifts of food etc were generous. A car is essential and you will drive through narrow lanes of the village to get to the villa. I would recommend you organise with your host to meet you initially to avoid “ google confusion”.

“Perfect Family Holiday villa in Crete!”

The villa located on the hill with nice view from the balcony, surrounded by a large garden with lots of olive trees and many other plants. Very tranquil location to escape from crowded city. On the other hand it is 15 minutes drive to Heraklion city center , or 8 minutes drive to local town which has lots of very nice Greek reassurance. Property is spotless clean and got all you need for the holiday away from home We had a great one week family time here, thanks for the host Minas for all his offer, from the warm welcome to the preparation of this perfect property, local attractions recommendations etc. Communication was very clear and on timely manner.

A great place for calm holidays! We had a great time as a family with 2 children. Both the outside and the house are very specious with a lot of space to play or to relax on different tarraces. In the house there is everything one might need. It is 20 minute ride to Heraklion and many surrounding beaches. The host is great! Always available and with great tips on what to do around. Highly recommended!!!

“Amazing elegant house to relax on the top of the mountain”

Amazing traditional cretan (upscale) house, in the top of a mountain, elegant with all the facilities you need, plus a garden to pick up fruits and vegetables. Each floor with a balcony to relax, have a drink or enjoy a good book immersed in the sounds and/or silence of nature. Nearby town for necessary shopping or to go to the local cretan restaurants. We simply did not want to leave. Amazing hosts, giving useful advice. Ideal to rent a car but obviously expect some wobbly steep rough roads on the way.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable property and it exceeded all my expectations. “Beautiful villa, super owner, fabulous holiday ❤️”

The villa is gorgeous, perfect for a family like us. Set on a hill with stunning walks straight from the front door. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. You feel very safe as the property is gated. Minas the owner could not have been more helpful. We arrived at 1am and he was there waiting for us. He was always available on the phone for any questions. Minas really did go above and beyond for us.

The place is superb! Location, facilities, decoration, amenities - all top-top! What strikes is a total silence and tranquility of the place Minas is a wondeful host with a vast knowledge of the area. The places he recommended to visit and where to eat were top-notch! I would highly recommend staying in the villa

“One of the best holiday homes we ever had! In most tranquil location!”

Wow! What a fantastic experience we had during our 1 week stay in this beautiful home! We've been greeted(and given a full tour of the house) on our arrival by most friendly and helpful Host we've ever met. It felt very homely immedietely! The fact the house was very well equipped and stocked witrh many necessities - nearly all the toiletries and foods(succh as salt, pepper, many other dry herbs and spices, water, juice, yogurt and so on) - was one off, for sure! Some of it lasted us for nearly all our time there:-) Very generous indeed! hat was totally unexpected, therefore came as a cherry on top! Three of us( a couple and our adult son) had plenty of space in and outside of this wonderful place; two of us were working some hours online every day - WiFi is strong and consistent and office upstairs served us splendidly too:-) We did some cooking and found the kitchen fit for purpouse well. However, we did enjoy very much our walks(Yes walks) to Cato Archanes nearest village through the forest to the local tavern(25-30 minus on foot), which was fun! The food there is fantastic and very cheap! It also a family run place and very traditional, so it is a must to visit! There are a few short/medium and longer walks you can do immedietely from the property, - just ask Minas, - he is very friendly and ego to help! The sleep quality is always a tricky one if you are away... Well, this place ticked this box for us too! We slept verty well indeed! Do not be put off by the proximity of a road(which is not even busy during a day time) - we had no noise comming from it overnight at all... I can write more and more about the good things in Minas' s wonderful place but the bottom line is you have tio come here and try it for yourself! It is well worth it! If we had a question - our Host was quick to reply and, on a few occasions he even came over to help and sorted it out:-) Thank you very much for making our stay one of the most memorable we ever had!

A wonderful house - beautifully located and designed, spacious, and very well equipped. Manos is a wonderful host. His attention to detail in thinking of his guests, and their possible needs during their stay, truly stands out.

One of the best accommodations that we have visited in Crete. Clean, spacious, welcoming host, beautiful landscape, nice village of Arhanes nearby. We got relaxing time and prepared our own bbq.

Everything was perfect. The host is amazing, extremely helpful and he treated as his friends, The place was probably the cleanest and most well equipped played I ever stayed. The traditional architecture of the house is beautiful and the surrounding property was very relaxing. Highly highly recommended!

“Excellent Villa with Wonderful Owner”

Starting with the owner, I can only say a wonderful family. After a long journey we had to the house, we found almost everything for the first days. This was more than a welcome package for us. The house is fully equipped. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to feel comfortable to cook. The villa has an extra grill house which we did not use as we were only there for a few days (we will definitely use it next time to have a grilling contest with the owner ;-) ) In this villa there are many balconies to relax and watch the sea, Herakleon and the surroundings. Behind the house there is a large garden. We could use many herbs, vegetables and fruits when they were ripe. We would like to thank Minas and his wife for our wonderful stay and will definitely return to their villa and meet them again.

The house is excellent, 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms, large garden with vegetable garden that you can use yourself and the house has 6 different terraces outside. Also the owner is very friendly.
