“Relaxed, comfortable, very friendly place with air conditioning.”
The lady who let me in to the property was really helpful. There were more members of the family staying. The outside area was well designed and one could find shade all day plus there was space to chat and have a few drinks. There were also tables and chairs outside each apartment. The pool was very welcome. Being up on a hill there seemed to be a breeze. The local house martins swooped in for a drink throughout the day. Breakfast was huge and delicious.

Lovely property with beautiful traditional design features.. cosy, warm in March, the property had everything we needed for a very comfortable few days stay in rainy weather. The wall from the apartments is steep buy a very pretty and quite sizeable interesting village with fantastic tavernas..

The rooms were clean and roomy. The pool was an added bonus. Very quiet location. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hosts were nice and sent us instructions how to arrive to avoid narrow streets.

At first glance, we liked the stay. However, we soon discovered a terrible smell coming from the bathroom’s drainage system. It was so strong that I couldn’t even take a shower, as it was impossible to stay inside without covering my nose. Unfortunately, the odor also spread into the room, which made the entire stay highly unpleasant

Villa Archanes is a short walk to the historical village where you can enjoy bars and restaurants. The accommodation is comfortable for all seasons and the pool was great for the summer heat. We booked breakfast on site, it was varied and plentiful. A very enjoyable stay.

“A little piece of heaven”
This is a little piece of heaven. Stunning villa, exactly as it looks in the pictures. Archanes itself it a lovely small town. Full of charm, some lovely restaurants and a great bakery. It’s a very easy walk down but quite a steep walk back up to the property. We had a car and there is easy on street parking. I’m not sure how easy the public transport would be from here. Everywhere is extremely clean and well kept. As there are only a few apartments the pool never got too busy and each family tended to find its own time. We’d definitely return here.
