“Beautiful traditional property in lovely town”
Our host was the most friendly and lovely person and gave us some good advice about the town. It is a traditional property with a courtyard shared among few rooms, it felt very homey and had a lot of character.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is beautifully designed in a traditional style, yet the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and equipped with all modern amenities. The village is stunning, and the location is perfect. A special thanks to Ms. Athina, the hostess, who was incredibly accommodating and helped us throughout our stay. We would definitely book again, even for a cozy winter getaway. Highly recommended!

“Highly recommended stay close to Knossos and Iraklion”
We as a couple stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. Our room was located in one of a few houses around a beautiful, calm inner courtyard which makes you feel like in paradise. The room itself was well designed and provided everything necessary for our stay. Athena was so lovely and helpful and made us feel like home. Thank you!

What a pleasant stay we had here! Nothing is too much for the owner, who is very friendly and very helpful in all areas. The breakfast is very complete and very tasty. There is also private parking for guests a little further away. I can highly recommend this address in a quiet village, with good restaurants within walking distance. Really a top address with a beautiful and cozy courtyard!

An authentic traditional Cretan house. The spacious room, with period furniture. The owner is pure kindness. She invited us to breakfast, on the 2nd day we were having something at one of the little tables they have in one of the patios of the house and she surprised us with some wines and a small plate of cheese. Another day, when we were having a wine at night, she invited us to a homemade dessert (I think she had told us that she was a pastry chef)... a delight as a hostess, really.

“Wonderful stay in 19th century Cretan village”
The yard is very beautiful and meticulously taken care of. The houses have a 19-th century vibe to them. So many details that Athena and her family are tending. Position perfect, the centre of the village is 3 minutes away from the houses. Athena is so welcoming, communicative and funny. It was a real pleasure if you like a more traditional and personal touch away from the beach crowds.

“Lovely summer oasis”
Beautiful property, spent 3 nights just after mid-August. We could easily just spend the day in the patio just reading and enjoying the calmness and beauty of the place. Great host/landlady, was very helpful and patient with our delayed late-night arrival and also a really nice and friendly person! Also, great to have a parking area saved for the tenants of Troullos, since parking near the accommodation is tricky in the village.

Athena and her family are such wonderful hosts. Their warm welcome, their interest for their guests and the relaxing atmosphere in the Troullos courtyard: One couldn't find a better place to stay. Poli kala!!!
