I had an outstanding stay at Eleni’s apartment, easily the best sleep I had during my travels around Greece. It’s clear she has put a great deal of thought into every detail, from the stunning interior design to the sense of comfort and atmosphere. Eleni herself is warm, welcoming, and truly an exceptional host. The apartment was spotless and located in the charming village of Archania, which added to the experience. I also learned that she is a psychotherapist who hosts retreats in the space for groups of up to 20 people, with accommodation for up to 16 across her hotel and apartment. It’s a place I would absolutely return to, even for a dedicated retreat. An A++ experience.

Amazing location in the heart of the Archanes. Beautiful room, warm and comfy on a chilly April evening. Eleni was the perfect host, she had even put the heater on in our room. Guests’ terrace, books on local history and fresh flowers in the room are just a few examples of how guests are looked after at Carpe Diem.

Charming and quiet small hotel located in the old village. Warm welcoming from the nice owner. A great cretean breakfast was served close to our comfortable room. Would come back without question.

Carpe Diem is an excellent hotel tucked into a backstreet of Archanes. The room we stayed in was well appointed and very comfortable. We stayed in Winter and were able to heat the room nicely. The location is perfect – just a couple of minutes walk to the town square where there are a number of restaurants and tavernas. Highly recommended!

It was great staying at Carpe Diem! We felt so warmly welcomed by Eleni. The room was beautiful and stylish as well as super clean. The building itself is very impressive and the restoration done shows a lot of care. Eleni gave us also very nice local suggestions. We totally recommend this place and hope to come again! “A stylish and welcoming stay in the heart of the village”

We stayed just one night at Carpe Diem Hotel, which feels like a new boutique-style property with only a few rooms. Like the whole village, the hotel is full of charm and the rooms are modern and feature a spacious bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, yet very close to the center and not far from the public parking area.

Excellent location in the middle of the city. Only parking is not easy because the roads are so narrow

Lovely family hotel - beautifully done with tasteful decor creating a welcoming atmosphere. The pool was warm enough and the whole area was very relaxing. Breakfast on the veranda was very nice - personal touches throughout made the stay pleasant - a lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Archanes.

The host Eleni makes you feel at home, carpediem is an authentic place of hospitality that will remind you at Archanes for long time. Carpe diem is an unique place to stay. A recommandation in every way.
