“Loved our stay in the charming house in Archanes village.”
The property was very well located, very clean and well equiped. The traditional house was.quiet and charming with it’s own courtyard and located near to Archanes central square where we ate each night in the open air. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Our host was easy to contact and very helpful. A great base from which to explore Crete.

“This property could be so much better - really needs to up its game with respect to cleanliness.”
This is a very authentic private apartment in a very traditional part of the delightful historic village, Archanes, just outside Heralkion. The setting is quaint and gives a sense of what it would be like to live there. It is very centrally located, very close to the main square, where all the village action happens. It seems a bit off the tourist beat, which was refreshing. A short drive to the airport, without having to go through Heraklion itself. Also very close to Knossos. Host met us to hand over keys - very friendly and helpful, including assisting us with luggage.
