The location just out of town amongst the olive grove and citrus trees was great. Staff were super helpful, showing us the kitchen and giving fresh produce tastings. We missed the cooking class but breakfast and dinner were great. It was very homely with cosy lounge and outdoor spaces for apertivo.

The property is really well treated and has a lot of character - from the library to the paintings in the walls. Also, the swimming pool is very big and the space allows you some great days to relax. The breakfast is good and quite local.

Lovely property with great facilities, especially the large swimming pool overlooking the countryside. We took the cooking class which was fantastic! Really friendly staff as well!

Beauty, simplicity, hospitality,, wellness and tranquility!!! Everything about this resort is faultless, a truly wonderful place to stay To rejuvenate and to capture the heart and soul of Sicily!! ! The staff are truly amazing and go out of their way to make your stay, each and every one of them work to ensure they provide the best personal service to all the guests where you feel part of the family. The food is delicious and lovingly prepared, if you fancy a snack nothing is too much trouble for them to prepare. Make sure you book the cooking experience. I need to mention Susie and her wonderful baking, yum yum!!!! Thank you to each and every member of staff who made our stay so magical, you all went above and beyond. The wellness, spa is a must treat yourself to a massage and facial during your stay. Trips, transport can also be arranged so even though the resort is remote you won't be stuck for things to do A stunning holiday from start to finish, I will miss waking up each morning to this gem of Sicilian beauty!!!! I will definitely return. Xx

“The hotel was stunning and a real treat!”

The hotel was stunning and a real treat! We were greeted very warmly and taken in to the kitchen to see our dinner being prepared and offered a drink and something to eat. Everything was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Dinner was served outside on the terrace. The only thing to note is that you are not given a menu to choose your dinner, it is prepared for you and everyone eats the same thing (unless you have allergies/preferences etc). The gardens and swimming pool area was just fantastic too. Overall would thoroughly recommend!

“We still miss it!”

This was our favourite place that we stayed in during a two-week trip around Sicily. We booked it at the last minute having left a couple of nights free and it totally exceeded our expectations. It's beautifully decorated, the staff and manager put a lot of care into the place and it feels like a family entreprise. And the food is amazing (breakfast lunch and dinner) - some of the best we had during our entire trip. We met some great people and want to go back!

“A slightly (just slightly) overpriced miracle”

A very well conceived and maintained and disclosed historical estate, run by lovely people who really care about the hapiness and wellbeing of their guests. The pool is just breathtaking and soft to the eyes and skin. The restaurant area is lined with a palm tree and a second pool and it over oversees a grand valley with long sunsets. One is delighted by the sudden (and near deafening) songs of the many peacocks who live here (some of which may loom up near the swimming pool). Our room was spacious, elegant and well cared for on a daily basis. The general feeling we had built up during our stay of several days and made us deplore our departure.

To me the most perfect accommodation I’ve ever experienced, and the most charming and genuine staff who all went out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. Fantastic meals, comfortable bed, we were very sorry to leave!

We had such a lovely stay at Fontes Episcopi. The staff are so helpful and welcoming, the hotel and gardens are beautiful and the food is amazing. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly! Definitely have the breakfast and dinner if you can.

We loved everything about Fontes Episcopi – it was our favourite place of the places we stayed in Sicily. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, a comfy, stylish room, beautiful style (I am jealous of Maurizio's ability to pick up antique/second hand gems and local art!). We took advantage of some of the experiences (a massage and a cooking class) and they were both 10/10. A good location if you're in the Agrigento area. Thank you very much to the team. Although a short stay it left a lasting impression!

Incredible farmstay! They truly make you feel at home. Lots of activities to choose from including a cooking class with their wonderful chef. Short drive to attractions such as the Valley of Temples and Scala Dei Turchi. Would definitely visit again

The staff and food dishes where excellent. I can't give enough praise to every thing about 10 day stay here: they even gave us chilled cold water for the day outing and everything was home made even the bread and pasts.
