This is a wonderful place! Very beautiful. The town has everything you might need, but the house is located in a very quiet area, and in the mornings there’s an amazing view of the sunrise over the desert. The host is lovely. Everything was super clean, and there’s absolutely everything for maximum comfort.

I had the most fantastic stay at this place! It’s a charming little studio that offers all the comfort you could need. Everything is spotless, beautifully designed, and the view over Jordan is simply breathtaking. The hosts, Itzik and Yaffa, are absolutely wonderful. Itzik is an artist, and guests have the unique opportunity to visit his studio and see his work. The decoration of the studio reflects his artistic touch—it’s truly a special place. Beyond the incredible hospitality, the location is perfect for exploring the south of Israel. In less than an hour’s drive, you can reach Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, Masada, and many other stunning sites. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. I loved every moment of my stay and will definitely be coming back!

“A great apartment in a very convenient location.”

Absolutely beautiful apartment. The art around the courtyard is intriguing, the views of the desert are stunning, the apartment is comfortable and came with many nice surprises such as cake and fruit. The bed is very comfortable and our daughter enjoyed the pull out couch. Several extra blankets and towels are provided. The kitchen is well equipped, not really for cooking, but plenty of cutlery, plates and bowls. A microwave and coffee machine (including pods) are provided, as well. We loved our stay near Arad, enjoying Masada, Ein Gedi, and floating in the Dead Sea. Perfect spot for venturing around!

Yafa and Itzhik are such warm and welcoming people. Being surrounded by Itzhik's art coupled with the view over the desert and valleys toward the Dead Sea was amazing. Yafa's gifts of Dead Sea products, dates and biscuits for the holidays were so sweet and thoughtful.

I chose Arad for part of my stay intentionally since I love this small city. It is rather quiet, easy to navigate, peaceful. When I saw the pictures of the Gamliel house, I knew I found the best place. The Judean desert view is stunning, the neighborhood is quiet, and all the pieces of art created by Itzik Gamliel, shared so generously with their guests, make the place a fairy tale, like living real a childhood dream. The hospitality of Yaffa and Itzik is just overwhelming.

Unprecedented excellence! The owner met us upon arrival and showed us the famous artwork including the workshop. Yafa made us a pastry . The gardens are full of creative sculptures. The Airbnb is private, tastefully decorated with solid, handmade furniture. The kitchen has everything you need to assemble a meal; Nespresso machine, full refrigerator with a separate freezer; heating and cooling on demand. Plenty of hot water, immaculate. Easy parking, close to Masada. Do stay here.

House of Art is truely unique! It is so nice to stay in a place where you are surrounded by original artwork. The view from the balcony over the desert is as good as the pictures, particularly late afternoon. The host is lovely and seemed genuinely delighted to shower us with gifts of home-baked cake and biscuits. We felt very welcome.

This place is amazing! We enjoyed everything - the beautiful location, the staff, the art all around ant the cute room. It isn't a luxurious stay, but it's perfect for its cost. We had a rely nice stay, got some good recommendations from the staff and overall the experience was superb. Within the room, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. Shower was a little small but very functional.
