Overview
Set at the foot of the Pordoi Pass, this Alpine hotel offers a free wellness area with a sauna and Turkish bath. All spacious rooms provide flat-screen satellite TV and a balcony. Arabba town centre is 1 km away. Breakfast at Chalet Barbara is buffet style, and includes cold meats, cheeses and fruit juice. It is served in the characteristic dining room, in front of the fireplace in the colder months. All rooms are carpeted and feature traditional pine furnishings. Each includes a private bathroom with soft bathrobes, a hairdryer and toiletry set. Some rooms offer a spa bath. In the winter, Chalet Barbara boasts ski-to-door access to the Burz Slopes. A chair lift is located right behind the property, and ski storage is provided. Bolzano and the A22 Motorway are 70 km away. Trento can be reached in less than 2 hours by car.

Everything. Staff were SO helpful, particularly Roberto who helped us with restaurant bookings and ski hire. Breakfast was delicious and varied. True highlight was the amazing wellness area - what a relaxing way to end an amazing day’s skiing!

We stayed for two nights in a junior suite room and had a great experience. The area is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, offering useful tips during our stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a large balcony and a big bathtub with massage jets — a really nice touch for relaxing. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was also great. We also appreciated the sheltered parking space for our motorbikes. One highlight of our stay was taking the DMC F. Europa cable car ski lift (22 EUR), which offered amazing views — a big thank you to the receptionist for recommending it!

“Superfriendly hosts, great hotel in an amazing location”
Super friendly hosts in a great hotel. The service was outstanding. My room was upgraded without asking, I was able to use the shower in the really nice spa after I had checked out and a little surprise when it was my birthday. Definitely on my list of places to go back.

Very nice hotel. Rooms has super nice wooden furniture and was very clean. Perfect breakfast! We didn't use the wellness because of warm weather outside and opening time 16-19h.

Pleasant stay. The hotel is nice and comfortable, and the room is well equipped. The breakfast offers a wide variety and is delicious. If the weather isn’t great, you can enjoy the lovely spa in the hotel. The location is peaceful, and the staff are extremely friendly. We would be happy to come back.

“Really nice hotel and staff for a skiing or non-skiing holiday in the Dolomites”
The hotel was excellent with a very welcoming reception (Drink on arrival). Good parking. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. Scrambled Eggs and Bacon always available and cooked fresh if none in the heater. It is a short walk up the hill from the Gondolas and centre of Town. The staff were very helpful, even on departure time giving us the best directions back to Marco Polo Airport due to the snow fall over night. Fully recommend this hotel if staying in Arabba.
