“Great location, idyllic natural environment, but we didn't feel welcome”

“Amazing place”

The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the ski lifts and they also offer a free shuttle service to reach those ski lifts in the morning and the afternoon. The ski room is great, it has a structure to dry and keep your boots warm overnight and enough rooms for skis and snowboards. The spa is very good too with two saunas, two hot tubs and 4 beds to rest. Enough showers and extra sun lounges to chill or put your stuff. We booked the smallest apartment because it was only the two of us and it was just perfect. I’ve seen a lot of comments complaining about the €100 deposit in cash and all the “rules” but everything gets already communicated in advance and to be honest, wherever you go you have to follow some “rules” and respect the place you’re staying. Taking the rubbish out and making sure the kitchen is left in decent conditions is a reasonable request, I didn’t find it too strict or extreme as most of other people said. Staff was very polite, even cleaners said hello and good morning when saying us walking around. Receptionist was very polite too, they also changed the date of my stay with only a few days notice as I had an unexpected emergency at work so I’m very thankful for that. With the place being very isolated it’s very quite too which is a plus when you have a trip in the mountains. We could hear some people from the other rooms next to us sometimes in the evening but no major noise during sleep time. We had a really good experience and since we wanted to do the Sellaronda, this place was perfect because the ski lifts next to it are a great place to start the sellaronda in both directions. I think you can also do the grande guerra from there in both directions, all starting from campolungo lifts. Corvara is only a few minutes drive, it’s a lovely little mountain village that has everything you need.

“Cute little hotel in the heart of Dolomites”

The apartment, even tho a little dated, had everything we needed for a short stay. It felt a little cramped for 4 people but we spend our days out in the mountains. The location is great for hiking and staff were helpful.

Really nice hotel. Clean, spacious and quiet. Parking !! which we needed after our journey from the UK. There are two partner hotels, the apartments that we stayed in and the hotel which is a 3 minute walk away. The restaurant and bar are in the Hotel and they have a swimming pool, but the apartments also have a sauna, jacuzzis and relaxation beds which I preferred. Our weather was "mixed" buy which I mean, a couple of days were lovely and my son and I got out and about, saw a lot of the Dolomites and the towns and lakes, stunning. But one day it tipped down so we just chilled. WiFi was brilliant and the kitchen was fully equipped. The food in the Hotel was exceptional, typical of the area and the staff were attentive and lovely. Really recommend ! We are even thinking of comng back to ski in the winter !

Check in and check out process took too long, we had to walk to the next hotel to find the staff. They had really strict rules about leaving the appt clean but offered no means for it, no dish soap etc.

Perfect location. Plenty of parking. Comfortable room temperature. Beds were super comfortable.

“Terrible and derailed our plans.”

6pm-6.30pm the reception goes for dinner and you cannot check in - we rushed to the hotel and arrived at 5.50pm and they already left for dinner so we had to wait 40 mins for the staff to return. No express checkout - you can only checkout between 8am-9.30am. We had plans in the morning and wanted to checkout and leave at 6am but there was no one at the desk. When the staff came in at 7.45am I asked the staff if I could check out and they said NO I can only check out at 8am. We could not just leave because they held our 100 euros deposit. Poor service and do not recommend.

The staff were nice and helpful. Access to the wellness spa in the evening was great. It's a super location in the mountains.

It was a very spacious, comfortable and welcoming room. it had everything we needed for our stay there, a fully equipped kitchen, and many more that made it feel like a home away from home. Its location is good if you consider it as your base to tour the Dolomites area without driving for too long. The staff of the hotel was also very friendly and welcoming We'll soon return sometime soon.

Our room was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with good quality ustensils, pans and tableware. Also, the view from our room was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely come back.
