The hotel owner is very nice who can help you arrange the travel and cook delicious dinner. It’s very close to the sea like 2 minutes walking and you can enjoy the nice sea view. The fishman basket is awesome!Try!

“Relaxed”

Lovely place to stay, right next to the beach with excellent snorkeling possibilities. Despite the situation in the Middle East we felt very safe in Jordan. People are most friendly and helpful. The accommodation has a nice swimmingpool to cool of. Aqaba citycenter just a 15 minutes drive. Next time we will book this place again!

Amazing location with welcoming staff

We had a wonderful time at this place and it was one of the best experiences we had in Jordan! Our room had a beautiful sea view and we could walk 3 minutes to the South beach. It also came with a fridge, AC, mosquito nets for all windows and was very spacious. Traditional breakfast was delicious and we could sit right next to the pool. All of the owners were super helpful with tips to explore the area - our highlight was snorkelling just in front of the beach. Best spot for diving, snorkelling and enjoying Jordan's beaches right at you doorstep - we hope to be back!

If you are visiting Aqaba and the south beach this is a good place. There is diving and snorkeling equipment! It is within walking distance - very close to the beach. There is parking. The breakfast was good. Overall the hotel and rooms are good.

I really enjoyed my stay at Darna Divers Village. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the place was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great for relaxing, and the location is great for chill. Overall, a comfortable place with a nice vibe.

Nice room size

“Super friendly local hotel right on the beach”

I really loved our stay here at the end of our Jordan trip. We stayed (2 adults & 2 kids) for a couple of nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel has an amazing location right over the road to the South Beach which is really nice. Not powdery sand, a little gritty but clean an beautiful coral reefs with lots of colourful fish right off the shore for swimming / snorkelling / diving. Its a family run hotel and the staff here are really nice, and made our stay, especially for our kids, really special. They also took them for their very first scuba dive (they are 10 & 11), looked after them amazingly and had an underwater camera for pictures too! The pool is really big, seems much larger than in the pictures and deep too - 1.5m at the shallow end to 3m at the deep end, perfect for diving and jumping in for the kids. Large areas with plenty of seating, sunbeds and shaded areas around it makes it a really nice place to hang out for most of the day. The room, although a little basic and sparse as other people have pointed out, is totally fine, large with really comfy beds and basic (but sizable) bathroom and you only use it for sleeping anyway so no issues at all. Breakfast was a decent selection and plentiful and the food at their restaurant but really tasty. Perhaps a little expensive but not too bad really for the large portions of western & local options and well cooked food. There isnt many options for restaurants here other than other similar hotel restaurants but Darna overlooks the sea so prime location for dinner! but Aqaba city is only a 15-20 min drive away (I'd definitely recommend Ayla Marina Village in Aqaba for lots of nice restaurants and bars for an evening). This hotel isn't luxurious so if you are looking for luxury then Aqaba city would be a better option for you. But if you are looking for a really friendly, basic, local hotel with a nice pool, overlooking the beach then I'd definitely recommend!
