Situated next to the A6 motorway, in the heart of the Yonne Valley, the hotel welcomes you 10 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes from Chablis. Mercure Auxerre features 77 ground-level rooms fitted with modern comforts, a lovely terrace and a swimming pool. The rooms offer a view of the superb 4-hectare park. The restaurant, Le Chaumois, serves traditional and tasty Burgundy cuisine. There are 6 adjustable conference rooms for up to 300 people. The conference rooms have a total area of 335m².

The reception, bar and restaurant area is open, airy and very comfortable and sleek. Nice welcome from the check-in staff, easy check-in. Service personnel very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and value for money. Wide selection for everyone's food needs. The restaurant menu is varied, food is ok (would not win master chef) The location of hotel is excellent less than 1 km from the motorway, no need to drive into Auxerre. Parking infront of the rooms. Good bath room and shower. Personal negative is that the hall ways and rooms are fitted with carpet, poor interior room design, poor lighting, very dark, which I never understand.

“Good pit stop near Auxerre”
Check in easy. Ample car parking. Room clean good size with comfy beds. Breakfast good. Older motel style hotel so could park near room. Adjacent to Tesla Supercharger

So...great location if you have a Tesla..we do. Easy to get into central Auxerre. Good breakfast...good food and wine ...BUT....the air con in our room made a gurgling noise as the condensate drained away ALL NIGHT. Sounded like some one was peeing in the loo next door...ALL NIGHT So if you want to charge your Tesla whilst having some nice food and wine...great....if you want to sleep .forget it

“Great place for a stop-over near to major routes.”
For us this was a one-night stop-over as we headed south and the hotel was perfect for this. Nice, comfortable rooms, staff were great, and the dinner was tasty too. Parking was right next to the room and checkin and checkout was dead easy .

“Refreshing and comfortable”
Spacious room with airconditioning, which was very welcome after a long hot day. Pool was great. Staff friendly and very good breakfast. Could park our bikes right infront of the building and gates close overnight.

“A perfect stop over”
A confortable hotel very conveniently located near the motorway and only 10mins drive from the lovely town of Auxerre. Freya at reception was so kind and helpful. After realising our air con did not work, she moved us to another room straight away coming to us with the new key and offering to help us to move our luggages. Freya is such an asset to this hotel. She made us feel so welcome. Thank you!!!
