“Lovely”
The view was amazing! Finding the property was easy. The bed was comfy and the pressure in the shower was amazing. Coffee provided was lovely. I loved being able to walk around and see the animals

“The perfect place to stay just outside of Mudgee”
Riverlea Cottage had everything we needed for our short trip to Mudgee, from the outdoor fire pit to the bacon and eggs. The dogs were adorable and we found it very hard to say goodbye to them. The cottage and the property are very well kept and we stayed cosy and warm in the cottage with the heaters/blankets.

“Exceptional!”
This place was exceptional! We loved it! It was so beautiful, everywhere you looked. Close enough for a short drive into Mudgee and far enough away to feel totally separate from civilisation. So relaxing

Advertised as a 1 bedroom apartment, the photo implies an area twice its actual size. The back corrugated iron wall is at the roof ridgeline, behind that, the back half, is an open shed and carport. Everything is very small. For example, there is not enough room inside for a even small table and chair for a meal, so there isn't one. I am more than suspicious about the authenticity of the other reviews. When we arrived, the toilet had been left in a disgusting state, and that sums up the experience for us. For this we paid $750 for a 3 night booking we didn't use. Even so, we left immediately and paid a further $750 for a replacement 3 nights in Mudgee. Though we informed Booking.com that afternoon (once back in mobile range), they have not followed up our request for a refund and do not reply to emails, and have kept their share of the booking fee for both bookings, so for them it is a financial win-win.
