Surrounded by a garden with seasonal pool and just 400 metres from the centre of Cornaiano, family-run Hotel Gasthof WASTL offers an à la carte restaurant and free parking. Rooms are bright and feature Alpine-style décor. The Wastl Gasthof’s restaurant specialises in South-Tyrol cuisine such as homemade soup and other specialities. A buffet breakfast including boiled eggs, homemade jams, honey, and fruit is served daily at the bar. Rooms come with carpeted floors, simple wood furniture and a fully equipped private bathroom. Most have a balcony. Wi-Fi is free in all the common areas. You can also relax in the garden equipped with sun loungers and tables and surrounded by apple trees. Guests enjoy discounts at a horse riding school situated 5 km away while mountain biking and trekking tours are organised by the local tourist board. A bus leaving every hour from the Wastl will take you to Bolzano, set 10 km away. The rooms are partly carpeted.

“We enjoyed our stay here tremendously!”
Loved the breakfast and the very kind and helpful service of the owners. They were very hospitable and always offered tremendous service and advice to make the most of our stay. Even provided bus directions! This was so appreciated as we had never been to Italy and were not familiar with customs and protocols. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel was very tranquil - we had great rest!!

“Hospitality with capital H”
The hotel is about 15 minutes ride from Bolzano, and we picked it as starting point for our daily hikes in Trentino. The owners are welcoming and friendly, with suggestions for the day and available for any request one might have. The breakfast has many choices, sweet and savoury. We would definitely recommend it
