“Absolutely relaxing and the perfect place to stay.”
It smelled amazing! I had no idea that Aomori was the apple capital of Japan. But I love it and would love to return and explore more.

“Perfect”
This hotel was one of the very best we stayed at in Japan. Spacious room, with lots of attention to detail, (plugs, cable) and TV with Netflix and other apps. A bathroom bigger than the tiny ones you usually get in Japan. Parking at the hotel.

“Great location, comfortable rooms”
The location was really good to walk to the various attractions and restaurants. The room was quite spacious and the bed super comfortable. The free amenities were excellent with face masks, cleansers and also a good choice of tea and coffee. Having a convenience store and bakery on the ground floor was a bonus.

“We Loved Aomori & Would Happily Return to Richmond Hotel”
The buffet breakfast was really very good, with many local specialities. There was an older female member of the breakfast staff who spoke good English & encouraged us to try many different dishes. Sadly, I didn't get her name, but she was so enthusiastic about her job. On the ground floor is a Lawsons & also a bakery, which sold delicious pastries - both savoury & sweet. Our room was spacious, by Japanese standards & very clean. We used the coin-operated laundry here. The English instructions were very helpful. Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants & shops. We even walked to/from the JR station once we'd orientated ourselves.
