Whalecome Aonang Resort has a very convenient location close to the lively main street of Ao Nang, yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing because it is tucked away in a quieter side street. It offers a nice balance between being close to everything while still being able to unwind. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with complete amenities that made the stay comfortable. There is also a small swimming pool, perfect for cooling down after a warm day exploring the area. The location is excellent: within just a few minutes’ walk you can reach Ao Nang Beach, and there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, and convenience stores nearby. We especially enjoyed having a great seafood restaurant close to the hotel. The breakfast was simple but more than sufficient for us, with a good variety of essentials such as bread, spreads, juice, milk, coffee and tea, yoghurt, and cornflakes, fruit, salad. There were also pancakes and freshly prepared eggs in different styles served with sausages, which was a nice addition. On our last day we had to leave very early in the morning for our flight, before breakfast service officially started at 7:00 AM. Despite this, the staff had thoughtfully prepared takeaway breakfast boxes for us so we could still have something to eat on the way to the airport. That level of care and service was truly appreciated. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and on our last day we even received a hug before leaving, which says a lot about the genuine kindness and hospitality of the people working there.

Just off main road up a small road with a incline. Nice and quiet which was just what we needed staff friendly and helpful, can book trips at desk and all reasonable rates. A washing service available and again cheap and returned same day. Food far breakfast basic but all ok and only 200bht .

Everything was perfect. The staff was really kind and the room was very clean.

From the images this property looks like a spacious, fancy resort but the reality is different. The property is overpriced, the facilities are not great and the pool needs more maintenance.

Breakfast was simple but it was enough for us. Location was excellent, near the beach and all the restaurants and shops. All the staff members were very polite, they also had laundry service which was helpful. Our room was clean and cozy. I would stay here again.

I stayed in a room that wasn’t close to the pool. I was really happy about this as it was peaceful and away from the noise. The breakfast was good and water bottles were provided with housekeeping each day. I have stayed at the avani cliff resort and the Panan krabi resort before and although both are better the price difference makes this place very appealing. Laundry was cheap and was return the same day, although one of my items came back with some holes so if you have anything expensive maybe wash it in the sink.
