The host is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are neat, spacious, and well maintained. Daily housekeeping is provided, so you return to a clean room at the end of the day. The pool is nice, and the breakfast is good. Bike rent shops and Restaurants are at main road which is 150mtr walk away

“Friendly staff, lovely room”

The staff/owners were really friendly and sweet. Check in was super easy and the accommodation was easy to find. It is a little further away from the centre than we’d have liked but was in our price range. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool as we didn’t have time but looked really nice!

Cozy family guest houses. A sprinkle of paradise just outside the busy Ao Nang centre. Georgous pool to relax listening to the soubds of nature. Perfect location to relax. So clean Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Great value for money. A short walk to the centre - cheap taxi ride away if necessary.

Sao was the kindest! Pool was very clean and nice, rooms were comfortable, had everything you need. Breakfast was basic but tasty, Sao would cook fresh eggs everyday

Sao was extremely accommodating and helpful and cheerful! I had surgery at the local hospital and came here after to recover for a week as it was close to the hospital and I’d read some great reviews and it was nice and quiet which meant I could get some proper rest which helped my recovery. Sao helped gave me a lift to the hospital every morning which was a massive help, booked a taxi to the airport for me and helped me a few times by talking to food delivery drivers when they couldn’t find the location as I can’t speak Thai so I won’t be able to explain it to them. When looking at the photos of the place I was worried that I’d seen some fairly old TVs in the photos (having to be in bed most of the day whilst recovering) this was a worry but when I got there the TVs were brand new and I could sign into any streaming service I wanted and I noticed how the old TVs had been recycled to be part of the decorations now which I found quite funny. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want somewhere that doesn’t have loads of bars playing music till 4am like you would get if you stayed in central Ao Nang! Sao even let me checkout at 2pm instead of 12 as my taxi was picking me up at 2pm.

“Sweet people and place”

The staff are Sau and Titi, the couple who owned the place. They are the most lovely, welcoming and great people. The bungalows are located around a nice pool and are spacious, simple and nice. Breakfast is simple, tasty and generous.

Groovy Bungalows is a really chilled place to stay. A little out of town, but quiet and peaceful as a result. Spacious room, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere.

“Sweet property and good price for value”

The owner was super nice, the location quiet (a but outside of “downtown”, but easily doable with a rented scooter, the rooms were cleaned every day and they tried to help with everything they could. Panda the cat was also a nice fluffy companion :-) Breakfast was basic, but included and hot water was available during the day as well.

Breakfast was aceptable. The pool and common areas were great and gave sense of relaxation. The bungalow was incredibly spacious. The beds were comfortable and the details of the elephant towels was just adorable. .

“Relaxing jungle vibes”

Very peaceful place, perfect for people who want to relax, read, and feel the jungle. There are beautiful butterflies, flowers, and you can see some wildlife from your bungalow too! Delicious breakfast and very kind owners! The bungalow is just like the pictures, nice and clean. I also got my personal cat 🤣 there are some stray cats around, one was very friendly and slept on the other chair while I was reading and journaling every day. I somehow get a vacation cat in most places but this one was my favourite! I went everywhere with the Grab app but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Walking is quite dangerous in Thailand because of traffic and street conditions, so I wouldn't recommend walking too far. The Grab app is like Uber and way cheaper than tuc tucs!

We had a great stay at Groovy Bungalows. The owner is ever so friendly and kind. He even prepared a take away breakfast for us although we had to leave for the airport at 6am. Very peaceful and well-kept little resort. Highly recommended 👌

“Peaceful stay in the cute bungalows”

This accommodation was perfect for us and we loved it!! It was such a peaceful location with the nicest hosts ever. The breakfast was really good and we really enjoyed staying here. The pool is very nice to refresh and you got everything you need in the room. It’s simple but very relaxing and cozy. We had scooter or used grab to go to the beach so location was ok for us:)
