The place is in a lovely pretty tranquil setting. The accommodation basic but clean..shower was very weak, so was the sink tap. Nice small pool area. Family run, but don't expect yr sheets and towels to be changed regularly if staying longer. Short walk to new landmark night market area which is good. All in all I enjoyed my stay but not sure Id stay again.

The room was clean and well presented. The bathroom was functional. The room functioned as it needed to.

The staff are very friendly and clean your room daily, the location is perfect and short walk to Landmark! I have stayed here a few times now as I keep retuning because the staff are amazing. Feels like a family home stay, the pool is an adding bonus. I will be back again :)

Had the best time staying at Ao Nang Lakeside. The staff were great, really helpful when needed. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a chilled stay. Definitely would recommend it if you’re looking for a good spot to kick back. I will definitely stay here when I return!

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 🤯😳”

This is, without a doubt, the worst room we’ve ever stayed in. Where do I even begin? The bathroom is covered in mold, the furniture is outdated and literally falling apart, the entire room reeks, and the air conditioning is filthy—clearly never cleaned. But the worst part? The doors have cracks, making it easy for cockroaches to invade. One night, we had to kill seven. The next, I woke up in a panic with one crawling on my face. Absolutely disgusting. 🪳 When we told the owners about the bugs, they just stood there, offering no help whatsoever. So I gave them three simple solutions: a new room, something to cover the cracks, or bug repellent. They finally brought us repellent—after we basically had to beg. Even checking in was a nightmare. The staff didn’t speak a word of English, fumbled with our phone like they’d never seen a reservation before, and made the whole process painfully frustrating. And “Lake Side”? More like swamp side—a filthy, trash-filled sewer. The owners clearly don’t care—the place is falling apart, and they’re doing nothing about it. And to top it off, it’s not even cheap! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. 🫠

Comfortable bed and good pillows, great ac, clean decent pool. Free water daily. Can have room cleaned daily if you want. OK shower, hot water, loo flushes fine. I an solo traveller and had ground floor room. No mosquitos which suprised me being so near a lake and slow flowing river! Excellent location about 7 min easy walk to night market and beach across the road. Well lit for return home.

Great pool that was always open, large rooms with very large bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Walkable to the night market, but easy to use Bolt for everywhere else
