“Disappointing for the price.”
Location was great for the beach and the train station just a short walk away. Trains are regular into Rome and takes around an hour. Fair is cheap too. But learn a little Italian, not many speak English in Anzio.

Given the cost of the room I found it quite dingy. The staff on the other hand were very kind. In walking distance of beach (but no beach view). The pool was nice but not attached to the hotel and there is a fee to enter.

This place is a jewel, a time capsule from the 70s, even when they were some challenges related to the vintage AC and bath, I got an amazing experience thanks to the efficient staff that was always keen to help. Jacob from reception helped us a lot during our stay.

Staff were lovely, near the train station, and the pool was brilliant. Plus you go down the steps to a small bar with a great view, down one more flight to the beach which was almost empty, despite it being August. With three generations on holiday together, it was just right.

“grat hotel to lounge at the pool or at the beach”
We arrived late and just after the restaurant had closed but the restaurant manager organised a nice chicken for the 5 of us, very nice when we were all really hungry. The food section beside the pool is really good, fresh and reasonably priced. Breakfast has some great choice and the food is fresh. The room was conformable and very functional, plenty of space. The pool, deck chair and parasol are great and the staff on duty always ensured all behaved and did not splash water all around. The train station (Anzio Colonia) is only 10 minutes' walk, very convenient when not driving to return to Rome.
