We had a nice stay at Yellow Birds. We arrived in the morning and were able to hang out there for a bit after a long journey on the bus. They also made sure to clean our room super quick after the previous guests checked out so we could even get some rest shortly after our arrival!! The room was cool and comfortable, a good base in hot Anuradhapura.

Nice rooms and most of all very nice and very helpull family!! Bikes available for rent which is helpull to visit the dagobas and monastery ruins.

The House is beautiful and very clean. The owners are really kind. They have a car and a tuk tuk to drive you wherever you ask for, and also have bike for rent. I warmly suggest to use bike, if you want to plunge into Anuradhapura ancient city atmosphere. You can also have a huge breakfast (fruit/juice/omelette/bread/jam/coffee…) for a little extra

“Lovely stay”

We had a lovely stay at the Yellow Birds Resort. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful, we highly recommend this place to visit Anuradhapura.

The room was large and brightly coloured with a.comfortable bed and a welcoming host. I also managed to get my laundry washed for free.to which I was most appreciative.

We had a wonderful time! Super clean and room with mosktionet and comfortable bed. The WIFI worked well. The hosts were amazing! Would definetly reccomend.

we really enjoyed our stay here! the room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were really helpful when we wanted to book a safari to Wilpattu. we would definitely recommend this place!

“An exceptional welcome”

The hosts were absolutely lovely. We were greeted with a fresh juice and they did our laundry for free. The breakfast was excellent. They were very helpful in arranging touring the city and our onward travel. I would highly recommend for those on a budget.

The couple who owns the place is lovely and mindful. Nothing they did not took care of! They served delicious tea and when you are brave enough you can even get a bicycle. During my stay there was still a lot of renonation work going on. I bet the place looks fantastic once they are done!

Serene place, ideal for 3-4 nights to explore the holy sights

“Great”

Breakfast was great - fresh fruit, toast and eggs on their beautiful balcony. Home was very clean and tidy. Not noisy. Good working aircon. They provided mosquito nets as one of us got bitten. Hosts were very attentive - helping us organise bike hire, use their fridge and kitchen facilities.

Yellow Bird Resort is a beautiful house close to the main road. Dharshani and his wife are extremely friendly and hospitable! They did our laundry for free, connected us with a tuktuk driver who drove us around in Anaradhapura and courrierd an item that we forgot. We were also allowed to take their car. Two double beds with mosquito nets and good working AC. Room is clean and bathroom has hot shower. Definately recommend!
