Super clean and comfortable. Cycle hire next door and really friendly hosts. Very good value for money. Surprisingly quiet as rooms are at the back of the property.

“Best stay in Anuradhapura”

The room is spacious and clean, with large, comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is large, with a separate shower and plenty of hot water. There is also a spacious kitchen and living room available for use, always stocked with tea and coffee. Our stay here was excellent, largely thanks to the hosts, who are very kind and always ready to help with anything needed. Since we arrived late, they arranged dinner delivery for us, organized a driver for sightseeing by tuk-tuk, a safari in Wilpattu, and even drove us to the bus station at the end of our stay. This was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

It was quiet and the owner was very kind. The rooms were cute. There was a shared salon and kitchen. There was a local restaurant nearby that was popular with locals and they were very kind to mi. Thank you so much!

We stayed in Villa Tulip Garden for one night. We were greeted by a cold drink and cold, scented, damp towels to refresh our faces, which was very attentive. Altough the ability to eat in villa was not included, we were recommened to a good local buffet few meters away with very nice food and good prices. We also got tea and coffee to prepare in the kitchen by ourselves. The hosts were available on whatsapp Our room had shared kitchen, dining and living room with another room but that room was unoccupied, so we basically had a whole apartment with everything just for ourselves. The bedroom itself was clean, with working A/C and very interesting bathroom which has a living tree growing through the ceiling. The interior feels very well made and properly designed - not just random pieces of furniture put together. The room has a mosquito net. Internet was working reasonably well. We rented bicycles for reasonable price for the whole day and went to see the sacred place. It was definitely a unique experience to ride bikes by our own pace around these sacred monuments. Definitely recommend if you can handle the heat on the bike. The sacred city is located 4km from the Villa Tulip.

“Nice place to stay in Anurdhapura”

The room and bathroom were lovely and the hosts helpful and friendly. It is pretty close cycle ( organised by homestay) to the ancient city. We were dropped at bus station leaving which was lovely to

The hosts of this accommodation are very friendly and helpful, the welcome was perfect as well. Room and bathroom are stylish and in very good condition. The host did help with any question and responded always prompt.

Lovely and spacious room design, also the bathroom is charming. The host welcomed us perfectly with a welcome drink and cold towel. Air conditioning and the mosquito net were super helpful, as it was quite hot these days in Anuradhapura. They also had bikes which we rented for the day to visit the sacred city and wonder around the city.

Good location

Room is up to hotel standard even this is a guesthouse. Clean throughout, functioning aircon and a bonus of mosquito net! Bathroom is partially roofed but its in an outdoors setting so expect mother nature with msoquitoes and so on. Otherwise it is beatifully setup with plenty of plants and cool lighting. There is an outdoor patio area to chill. Owners were helpful, provided with bycicle for reasonable price and granted me with free fruit in the morning before leaving

Great service. Warm welcome. Very clean and good facilities. The breakfast was really good and we even had the pleasure of beeing dropped off at the bus station at our departure. This place is great.

The host is very polite and friendly. All the facilities available in the room and kitchen are perfect. Especially you can even prepare "Kiri Ahara Pooja" as the host provides all the kitchen items. Highly recommended as a decent and safe place to stay

Finally a female-run guesthouse in Sri Lanka! The hostess was very friendly and caring - she kindly offered breakfast even if it wasn't included, as well as a free ride to the train station. The room was nicely designed, clean and comfortable. Guests can use a common TV lounge, a dining space and a kitchen, and tea and coffee are available all day. Bikes can be rented for a full or a half day. The sights are within biking distance and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Great value for money and a really cosy place to stay - highly recommended!
