“Home sweet home vibes”

Nice spread of breakfast, wonderful host where they make you feel at home. Easy access to temples. Welcomes us with a nice pot of hot srilanka tea. Helpful to arrange any tour or assist us on pilgrims information and our journey. Clean toilet and rooms. Definitely I would stay here again on my next pilgrim visit. 💓

Room was very comfortable and staff were very helpful- They made sure I had their WhatsApp contact details in case I needed anything.

“Great place to stay and do day trips in the area”

Good location, big size of rooms. Great supportive staff, they helped me to organise transport and recommended guides. They went over and above for their guests, it felt like home. Also strong wifi!

Staff were very kind and accomodating, they rent bikes which is very convenient and provided information about exploring the ancient city which was very helpful!

“Amazing stay at Saubagya Inn!”

We had an amazing time at Saubagya Inn! Shehan and his family were extremely welcome. They welcomed us with a cup of tea and some information about Anuradhapura. The place had all the facilities that we needed including A/C and parking for our Tuktuk. The 4-course (!!) breakfast made by Shehan’s wife was amazing. It was my boyfriend’s birthday during our stay and they helped me to surprise him during breakfast. They came out with cake and birthday hats singing happy birthday. It was amazing and made us very grateful. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! We would 10/10 recommend staying with this family.

Breakfast was delicious lots of it & a good variety. Our host cooked us a wonderful dinner on request of 3 tasty curries, a fresh salad with poppadoms & rice and curd with honey as a dessert. They arranged trips for us and where so helpful with any query we had.

Clean well run place with very friendly and helpful owners. We stayed for 3 nights but extended to 4 we loved the accommodation and the area so much! There is plenty to do and it is well located. I recommend hiring bicycles from them to see the ancient city

Great breakfast! A little slow, but worth the wait

Very nice host, who provided plenty of helpful hints and recommendations. Sightseeing trips and safaris are organized directly by the host. The location was practical, as I could get off the bus from Polonnaruwa just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent (paid separately).

Great experience, beautiful house and spacious bedroom, everything was perfect. And helfpul recommendations for visiting Anuradhapura too! Just 5mins from the centre of the city.

“Lovely, helpful hotel owners: quiet, comfy hotel”

Shehan and his wife were wonderfully helpful. I truly appreciated their kindness. Breakast was varied, plentiful and delicious. The bed was comfortable, the room big and quiet. Plenty of storage space.

The staff was very friendly tried to help us in anyway they could. The place is very homely, we had everything we needed as travellers.

The family is very nice and helpfull if you have question or need transport. Very comfortabel room and bed. Nice breakfast!

“Go here, you will not regret it”

I would stay here again for the breakfast alone, wow! After staying in Sri Lanka for three weeks I can say this was our best breakfast we have had. Besides this, the family running it is super friendly and helpful, giving us a lot of tips and recommendations. The room was spacious and clean.

Owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel very comfortable. They are flexible when it comes to adjusting to your wishes and help you with any information you need. The breakfast is very good and nice to try local dishes as well. The whole place has a very nice vibe, I'd definitely stay there again :)

Family run business, owners are doing everything for making your stay as mach confortabile they can. Room clean and comfy, enough hot water to get a good long shower, good dinner and breakfast: the cook is just amazing!
