Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and facilities throughout the hotel. You can play complimentary badminton and pool game. Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine was so delicious. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Anuradhapura.

“Fabulous place!”
This hotel is spotlessly clean with first rate facilities. The welcome was warm from the outset and all the staff were fabulous. There are shops and a few places to eat very conveniently positioned and it is easy to get a tuk tuk to anywhere else that you might want to go. Some of the rooms are very colorfully decorated! This is certainly a unique place to stay. All the fixtures and fittings and plumbing and electrics worked perfectly. The shower had hot water and was fitted in a cubicle which meant that the floor of the bathroom did not get flooded. Breakfast was a very generous buffet affair with as much as you could eat of dozens of dishes. The quality of the food was excellent. The pool is large and was a great place to cool off after a hot day exploring the local archaeological site.

I booked 3 rooms for my sister's family for 1 night stay during their travel in Anuradhapura. They have had a great stay in Hotel White House. Experienced the highest level of hospitality, very caring, helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, flexible with checkout time( reasonable charges), They said that they obviously had a very memorable time in the hotel. We also stayed in Hotel White House a few times during our holidays in Srilanka, and we always had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Big thanks to all the staff, including the management. I recommend this hotel.

The staff are helpful, and the pool is clean and quite large. However, not all of the hotel rooms were very clean, and the room interiors may surprise or even amuse you — it’s worth paying attention when booking.
