Although the hotel is located in the city center, it is a quiet and peaceful place without the hustle and bustleThere is also a shuttle service available at reasonable charges for transport to and from the city's sightseeing spots.Apart from that, guidance on the right places to get the necessary food is highly appreciated.

Very basic ground floor room.. Clean. & It met the price expectations. A bit of walk to train station, & old bus station to go south to Kandy but quite do-able . (Or tuk tuk).I was time poor but owner organised afteroon tuk tuk tour (family driver) of just over 3hrs which was very helpful & did all the main sites I wanted to see., That worked out very good.. for a quick visit it was ok.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming, they recommended me a restaurant to have dinner which was very nice. They also have a tuktuk and can gice you a ride, too bad I didn't know when I arrived. They are very helpful, they kept my baggage without charging me afterwards.

“Good experience in Anuradhapura”

The owner is really nice. The location is good, as it is a three minute walk from the New Town bus station.

“Fantastic host”
The accommodation was really nice, clean and comfortable, with soap and toilet paper available. Despite a bit of a language barrier the host was super helpful, giving us food recommendations and advice on what to do in Anuradhapura. When we said we wanted to do the Ancient City and asked about Tuk Tuk tours, he offered to take us in his tuk tuk for a discounted price.

“Good practical stay at a good location with friendly owners”
This homestay is in a pretty quiet street close to supermarket and not far from the sacred city. Good room. Owner gives good information about the sights and has an own tuktuk to offer you the tours. This was very good for a good price. In the morning coffee/tea.

“great place to stay”
the host are realy kind and helpfull. The host can drive you where you need to go (we did the mihintale place with him) we rent the two bikes from the house for one day to enjoy the temples (a really good experience) the have good recommendation for food near by!

I have stayed at many places in Anuradhapura but I was never satisfied with the service they provided. However, at Hewage resort, I'm very much satisfied with their service and the place. I would like to recommend Hewage Resort to anyone who is looking for a reasonable and a comfort place to stay in Anuradhapura
