Without a doubt, this is the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I went there because it was the only possibility of cheaper accommodation in Italy , and I’m so glad that I did! Easy late self check in, excellent communication with the staff, comfortable bed, amazing chill out areas, insanely beautiful decorations and wonderful village of friendly locals and surrounding mountains. So I am even more grateful that the owners do not charge extortionate prices like everywhere else in Italy. Also I work online, and it was easily possible here as there are lots of different areas to find a quiet space. Really wonderful, 11/10 . Thank you!

“Perfect stay near the train station connecting anywhere.”
Perfect place. Located 4 minutes away from the train station. Amazing mountain view. The town itself is beautiful and there is a hiking trail with the starting point located 2 minutes away from the hostel (it’s all uphill but beautiful!). The staff were super helpful and nice. Fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this place.

“Great place to relax”
Hostel in a beautiful town of Antrodoco which is surrounded by mountains. If you wish to relax in a small Italian town and have access to the nature - it’s for you! You still can enjoy best coffee, gelato and food!

I LOVED my stay at Ostello ll Castagno! From the amazing staff (who were extremely welcoming, helpful, fun and had great knowledge of the place/things to do there), to the gorgeous location in the mountains and very modern/ comfortable facilities! I cannot recommend staying in Antrodoco enough, but it was made truly special by staying at Ostello ll Castangno! I cannot wait to go back and meet all the wonderful people from the town again. The staff spoke great English as well (for those who only speak English like me!)

It was a lovely town and the hostel was large with a wonderful mural out the front. The staff were kind and wifi was strong. Staff gave information about buses to rome
