My stay at Hotel San Rafael in Antigua, Guatemala was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my entire stay. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. Every detail of the hotel reflects charm and elegance, it truly is a little gem. Breakfast each morning was generous and absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh and flavorful options that made every day start perfectly. The location is unbeatable just one minute from the Santa Catalina Arch and less than five minutes from all the main attractions in Antigua. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made my experience even more enjoyable. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that I was the first Romanian guest to stay here, which made the experience feel even more special and meaningful to me. Honestly, I don’t think I could have found a better place to stay. I feel incredibly grateful for this experience, and if I ever return to Antigua, I would definitely choose Hotel San Rafael again without hesitation.

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful, tranquil location”

Beautiful room in an atmospheric and tranquil colonial building. I loved relaxing by the water features and leafy courtyards. My room was quiet, very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful (WhatsApping me when my room was ready a little early)l, and the breakfast featured the best hash browns I've ever had! The location is perfect: steps from the Santa Catalina Arch, but the hotel is a peaceful respite away from the hustle and bustle outside.

I loved everything about this hotel. The territory is a dream. It’s absolutely stunning. The room was beautiful. The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious and the staff were very helpful. The security is impeccable. I could leave my bags at the reception after having checked out. The internet worked well and everything just seemed so well thought.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I loved the decor of the hotel. It had a unique charm that added to the overall experience. The hotel is situated in a prime location, which made it easy for me to explore the city on foot. I was able to visit all the major attractions without having to travel too far. Overall, it was a delightful stay and I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We loved this hotel. It was simply beautiful from first to last impression. The staff were wonderful and the room lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We had two early morning starts and for both they made us a packed breakfast that was good too. When my wife was poorly for a day it was a great place to convalece.
