Rafael did everything to make our stay at the hotel perfect. Very friendly and always available to help when needed. We extended 2 times at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay here. The small garden and the lounge seats are nice to relax in the afternoon/evening.

Staying here was the best decision I made on this trip. Rafael was incredibly attentive and thoughtful—he treated me like family. As a solo traveler, his kindness helped ease a lot of the uncertainty I felt during my journey. I wish I could speak Spanish—if I knew even a little, I could have interacted with them more. Also, it’s very quiet here, the surroundings are beautiful, and it’s super clean. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. I’m sure I’ll go back to Antigua, and when I do, I’d be happy to stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Quinta Vista Verde in Jocotenango, Antigua, hosted by the incredibly welcoming owner and staff. This family-like-running hotel made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived (for 10 days) – they were so helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. Our room was spotless and cozy, with a private bathroom, providing all the comfort we could ask for. The breakfasts were a highlight – fresh and delicious – and the hotel's surroundings are beautifully serene, offering a peaceful escape. Location-wise, it's super convenient to Antigua's center; we often walked or took a quick Uber (tuk-tuks are available too). The only minor downside was some morning traffic noise from the nearby area, but it didn't detract from our stay at all – it's just the urban vibe! We recommend stays for both longer and shorter periods. Do not hesitate to discuss your plans with the owner or the receptionist. They will gladly arrange transfers from or to the airport, help with organizing trips to sopka Pacaya, Tikal, Atitlan, Chichicastenango, as well as to the Pacific coast Monterico. The majitelia can arrange discreet, comfortable private transfers, including tailor-made guide services. They also provide laundry services, recommend or reserve local restaurants and markets with artisanal products. We'd absolutely return without hesitation. Highly recommended for a warm, authentic Guatemalan welcome! 🌟

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. The room was a bit small but clean and cozy. I would happily stay there again. Highly recommended!

If I could give 11 points, I would! The Hotel Quinta Vista Verde exceeded our expectations in every way. It is run by a family, and it is very obvious that every member brings their passion to the workplace and is invested to make the stay the perfect as possible. They are always attentive, up for a chat, and go the extra mile to make sure the guests are comfortable. The rooms are small-ish, but very cozy, and equipped with everything one needs. The shower is hot and everything impeccably clean. The quiet, green and well-cared-for patio, in which you can have breakfast, is an oasis inmidst the hustle and bustle of Antigua, and you can gain energy for your day. The breakfast is amazing! Many choices, freshly made, plentiful, and just finger-licking delicious! I recommend the Avocado-Toast, the pancakes, and....well, try them all =). Other than most hotels so close to downtown Antigua, the hotel offers free parking, which took away lots of stress for us! We just left the car at the hotel and took an UBER to get around, which is ridiculously cheap. Oftentimes less than 3 USD to get into town. I recommend going during the celebrations of Todos Santos beginning of November - the hotel is perfectly located to take in all the happenings - going to Sumpango for the Giant Kites Festival, to downtown Antigua for the halloween craziness, and to the more solemn and authentic celebrations on the cemetery right next door. Also, don´t miss out to go up to the roof terrace one morning to see Volcán de Agua towering over the city!
