bathroom was very spacious (i think we shared with 2 other rooms). service was good, we could easily leave our luggage when we were away for our acatenango hike.

Super helpful staff, clean facilities, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We left our bags when we went hiking and that was no problem. Great cost effective option.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen was really well equipped and had everything to cook with including oil. Showers were really good and had hot water. Free tea and coffee was really nice.

Super location near the mercado and bus stop. Easy to walk everywhere in Antigua! Very relaxed, quiet vibe in the courtyard. Room is spacious and comfortable. They provide filtered water and tea/coffee. The reception is very friendly and helpful :)

Very nice and affordable rooms.

Basic but clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Antigua. Within walking distance of every point of interest. Simple room with comfortable beds and ceiling fan. The wifi worked well during my stay. There is hot water for the shower, which is nice. There is a guest kitchen with filtered water for free. They also offer free coffee and tea in the morning and the evening. There is a laundry service for 8Q per pound. It's unclear whether or not they offer tours and shuttle services. The reception desk is rarely manned, for the girls are busy cleaning the place and preparing room. If they do offer such services, maybe a board with options and prices hung on the wall near the reception would be nice. All in all, very good value for Antigua.

The room was clean, in a good location, and very comfortable. Be aware that there are two hotels with the same name (I & II); don’t go to the wrong one.

“Great value and location”

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is still excellent value. Very comfortable mattress (double room with private bathroom). It's all you need for 2 or 3 night stay. Kitchen available and free tea and coffee and drinking water. Wifi was excellent (160mb/s or more) and the location is perfect. The room was very peaceful and you are close to the market and the main square. Plenty of hot water too and friendly staff.

In total, I've spent 4 nights at Hospedaje el Viajero, but only one at no II. I had quite a dark and small room there and could gladly switch to a more spacious and lighter one at no I :) There I've liked everything! They have a nice rooftop terrace with a great view of the vulcanoes. Both places offer free coffee, water and tea and a well equipped, clean kitchen with a big fridge The ladies at both places were always kind and helpful and also organised the airport transfers for me, thank you! Communication worked very prompt Location is perfectly central in Antigua, but it gets loud because of all the cars from like 7am on

Loved this place, we extended our stay because we felt great and welcome. All areas kept really clean, well equipped kitchen, friendly staff!

Great location, the staff is very nice and accomodating. We were so impressed by the cleanless of the place, they really care about keeping it welcoming and clean! Kitchen has everything you need to cook and the space is lovely.
