“I wish I’d stayed longer I loved it so much”

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this hotel. It’s in a great location with plenty of nearby places to eat, but far enough away from the middle to be peaceful. It’s an easy walk from the centre though so don’t worry about it being too far from sights. I booked the apartment which comes with a kitchen, though it’s not really kitted out for cooking, but the fridge and hob are useful. There’s a cosy, quiet bedroom, nice bathroom and the real jewel a rooftop terrace. You can have the delicious included breakfast served up there and there are a couple of loungers to use (although they didn’t look that comfortable. But it’s a genuine treat to have your own, private rooftop to enjoy. The staff are very sweet and helpful too. I wished I’d booked for much longer.

“Fantastic quiet hotel”

This hotel is a true gem. Its location is superb—very well situated, yet still in a quieter area. The moment we stepped inside, the outside world vanished, and we were enveloped in an interior bubble. The rooms were excellent, and while there were a couple of minor issues (which we've noted separately), we would absolutely return.

“Beautiful property”

Simply beautiful place. All the rooms are different, we had an apartment with two rooms each with a balcony and a bathroom. Quiet location but only a few blocks from the central Square. The breakfast, which you order the day before was excellent and served on our terrace. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak some English. Bed was very comfortable with good pillows. We enjoyed the day bed in the other room for relaxing.

A very beautiful boutique hotel. Our room was large and very comfortable with large glass doors that opened up to an airy courtyard filled with plants and trees. A lovely breakfast was served to us outside at our own private table. The staff were wonderful, and very thoughtful as to our needs and comfort. The whole aesthetic was very old world and unique. Cissus is very quiet and restful in the midst of a walkable Antigua. It was a treat to stay there!

“Sumptuous serenity”

Beautiful property in great location. Lovely people, so kind & helpful - all smiles. Small, but perfectly formed - 5(?) individual suites in a labyrinth of traditional hacienda-style courtyards, staircases & terraces. Ours had a second room with a day-bed & enormous TV! Subdued lighting throughout, sumptuously decorated with lots of internal plants & water-features. Excellent breakfast in your own private garden space. So serene - the kind of place you find yourself whispering to each other. Highly recommended.

We booked the king suite with balcony. It was huge, beautiful with a separate living area with a huge tv with all streaming services (if you have them at home). Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and in a great setting. We loved out stay here

Lovely setting in a quiet area but close to the main square and has restaurants and bar close by. The owner very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were fabulous; spacious, good quality bedding and towels and very clean.
