“Very good option”
Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, nicely decorated rooms, thick mattresses, and access to the large pool of their mother hotel at 1 block. Rather calm, a little further from the main square.

“A beautifully presented but busy hotel with pool in easy walking distance to the main square”
I had booked La Casa Encantada but was informed I'd been "upgraded" and, on arrival found I was in the Hotel Antigua which is another hotel in the same Porta group in the next block. At first I wasn't pleased, as I had fond memories of the Casa Encantada and had wanted to return. However, the Hotel Antigua was very comfortable, beautiful and had more facilities so was an acceptable substitute. The breakfast buffet was very good, as was the seafood ceviche I had for dinner one night. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and in a lovely setting. Everywhere was very clean.

“Still a lovely little hotel.”
Lovely little inn with just a few rooms. The staff are competent and friendly, and one feels safe, as you have to ring to enter. The high points are the breakfast terrace, with a view of surrounding mountains and colonial streets, and the ample breakfast itself.
